We're still in need of some who can voice the Chef, Grandma, a long with a few extras. So, I decided to extend the deadline yet again to see if some VAs audition for said roles!
Your Name Movie Part 1 English Fandub Project
Project Overview
Have you ever heard of the animated movie "Your Name"? This is something I had edited back in December in terms of sfx! Why dub it if it already has an official English dub? Well, because I had already edited the sfx for the first part so why not dub it. How long will this part be? It'll be 27 minutes long since that's all I had scripted and edited. Well you dub the whole movie? Honestly, probably not, but who knows. Will you voice a character in your project? Yes! I'll be voicing one of the main characters, Taki! Where will this uploaded? For now, Vlare! (website similar to youtube, but without the copyright issues). Will there be a project discord server? Yes! Once I cast the VA's I'll send a friend request and message them the invite link (discord username will be CGZ[FGC]).
Requirements
- Must be 15 years+
- No background noise in your audition (Please no headset or computer mics)
- Must have a discord (this is a must)
- Must be able to communicate!
- Must be active!
- Have fun!

Casting
We've reached the 3rd deadline and there was more auditions for some of the extras which I did cast today! ^^ However, there's still some extras that didn't get many auditions as well as the role of the Grandma so I'll be extending the deadline for those roles. -

Ayo! I didn't expect many VA's to audition, but I still need some auditions for other minor character so I'll be extending the deadline! I will start to cast some of the VA's this week so I look forward to working with y'all!

Mitsuha is a kind, caring, organized and supportive girl who is also determined and sometimes persistent, frank, as well as adventurous. She is tired of her close-knit lifestyle in the small and rural town of Itomori, and as so she is also flaky and uninterested in her family's traditions and wishes to explore outside of her hometown. This is why when she starts switching bodies with Taki, she appreciates every small thing in his life and makes the best out of it. She also becomes enamored with Tokyo city.
"I hate this town! I hate this life! Please make me a handsome Tokyo boy in my next life!" (emphasis on the last part)

Sayaka is a calm and very kind girl who has a level-headed demeanor. She is also quiet and somewhat nervous, vehemently denying her attraction to Katsuhiko. She is very supportive of Mitsuha and shares her resentment of living in Itomori.

Yotsuha is very level-headed, smart and independent for her age, with sharp instincts, always waking her sister up in the morning and helping with chores around the house. However, she claims to see the world like an elementary-schooler and still acts like a cheerful and energetic young girl her age. Yotsuha also states that she is aware of her lack of understanding but is constantly trying to improve her knowledge.

Hitoha is a calm and composed woman with a strong love for her family, especially her granddaughters. However, she isn't particularly fond of her son-in-law since he rejected the Miyamizu shrine and its traditions to pursue a career in politics, calling him "that stupid son".

During his youth, while Toshiki's parents were landowners, Toshiki lived alone in his apartment in Kyoto to study cultural history, which is very close to folklore studies. Although he was absorbed in his work, his family was sure he come back home someday and settle down, which is why they had arranged a fiancée for him. He had no particular interest in marriage nor his fiancée, who was the granddaughter of a work colleague and former professor of his, so he left the matter alone.

Fujii Tsukasa is a supporting character in Kimi no Na wa.. He is one of Taki Tachibana's closests friends and is often concerned about him whenever Mitsuha Miyamizu embodies him. Despite teasing Taki, he tries to support him as much as he can. At the end of the movie, he is married to Miki Okudera.
