Two close friends, Dillon and Zak, have a phone call. Zak has been struggling with their mental health with their constant and heavy workload they put on themselves and she avoids talking about it. Dillon, sensing something is wrong, encourages Zak to open up and offers words of comfort.
As the call goes on, Zak admits that they’ve been struggling. Dillon reassures them it’s okay to take a break and rely on others sometimes, even just for small things. By the end of the call, Zakari ends up taking a short breather to listen to Dillon talk, lightening her mood a little.

- Midwestern Accent
Friend of Zak, and her long-time crush, Dillon is a good-natured person, some would say that he is too sweet. Typical gym dude with a lot of “bros” slipped into his dialect. He’s very loving and genuinely cares for each and every person in his life, no matter what. This role will need someone expressive with their voice. Male actors specifically for this role.

“You can’t keep running on empty, Zakari!”
“Oh my gosh, you’re gonna love it.”
“Maybe... It’s easier if you have someone else to carry the weight with you?”
Neutral accent preferred, but as long as the voice is on the deeper side, anyone is able to try. (Men, Women, Etc)
- Feminine-Androgynous appearance
Struggling to talk about their feelings or thoughts, she finds herself burying their head into their work, barely moving away from her laptop. This role needs someone who can do a relatively monotone voice and appear exhausted/depressed. She is not very expressive, but is sarcastic when needed.
“I’m fine, Dillon. Just a lot on my plate right now.”
“Pshh. Breathing’s overrated.”
“If I stop for a second, everything’s gonna fall apart.”
