She’s the type to rehearse confessions in the mirror at night, only to scoff and toss her hair when the real moment comes. Her pride is both her shield and her downfall.

Osana’s voice is quick spoken, clear, and with a lot of energy that makes her sound a bit impatient, even when she isn’t. It easily shifts into playful scolding quick little “ugh!” and “jeez!” noises punctuate her sentences. But if you listen closely when she’s embarrassed, her voice rises just slightly, taking on a strained tightness that betrays her composure.

Being an only child meant spending long hours in silence, daydreaming about bustling kitchens full of laughter, of friends who’d always come over to taste her newest creations. Amai tries to fill that ache by feeding people, by making herself needed and running the cooking club at her school. Unfortunetly as Akademi is a prosteigious school most of her club mates are biusy after school.

Even when someone treats her poorly, she tends to respond with anxious sweetness, terrified that pushing back would make them leave. Her warmth is genuine, but there’s an edge of desperation she tries very hard to keep hidden.

Amai’s voice is soft and gentle, always carrying a tender, almost nurturing cadence. When she laughs, it’s breathy and shy, like she’s embarrassed by her own joy. Her words have are softly yet carefully spoken, sometimes trailing off when she’s nervous, or rushing just a little too eagerly when trying to please. If she’s flustered or frightened, her tone tightens, dropping closer to a whisper. But she rarely lets frustration truly color her voice, she’s more likely to giggle awkwardly or apologize than snap.

Oka Ruto was raised in a deeply spiritual household. Her parents are professional “spiritual consultants” they run a business offering services like exorcisms, séances, spirit channeling, and supernatural advice. While skeptics call them frauds, they genuinely believe in the paranormal and view their work as a sacred mission.

From a young age, Oka accompanied her parents on travels across Japan, visiting places rumored to be haunted not as a tourist, but as part of their work. One of their most significant trips was to an abandoned insane asylum in Buraza Town, said to be haunted by the vengeful spirit of a man who preyed on women and was ultimately murdered by one of his victims.

During their visit, something happened. Oka became separated from her parents and found herself alone inside the asylum. In a dark hallway, she experienced something she cannot explain: a whisper in a voice that was not human, cold air despite summer heat, the feeling of being watched and a fleeting glimpse of something with empty eyes.

Her parents told her she had probably just frightened herself, and that she was too young to feel supernatural forces. That belief must be stronger than fear. But Oka was convinced she had encountered a genuine supernatural entity, and that moment solidified her beliefs forever.

Asu grew up in a loving but modest home. Her adoptive parents were supportive but not very physically active which made her fascination with sports and competition stand out from a young age. She was always on the move: climbing trees, racing bikes, swimming, jumping, running laps around the block.

But childhood wasn't easy. Asu had asthma since she was little. Doctors told her parents that she needed to "take it easy." That she would never be a professional athlete. That she'd live a "slower" life. 

Asu refused.

She trained harder than anyone, not because she wanted to win trophies...but because she hated feeling like she was fragile. She built her body up not just to compete, but to prove herself, to make asthma irrelevant. Even when she struggles to breathe, she refuses to show weakness.

Muja grew up wanting to help people -  not because she was naturally gifted, but because she saw how scary hospitals and sickness were. Her grandfather was sick when she was a child, and while the doctors saved him, what she remembered most was the nurse who smiled at her and explained  things without making her feel stupid. 

Since then, Muja has dreamed of becoming that person for others.

But she's not very coordinated. Or organized...or focused...

Muja barely made it through her first few years of high school. She was kind of a joke to some of her classmates - always tripping, always late, always trying a little too hard. (That was until another student got enrolled.) But she fought through every failed exam, every embarrassment, every clumsy lab accident - and finally got into a science focused club in her last year of school.

She's currently shadowing her Biology teacher and the nurse at Akademi as part of her hands on credit requirements. She's not a full nurse, just a biology intern - but she gets excited about everything from dissecting to checking vitals! 

VOICE TYPE:

When she started teaching, she was overly friendly with students. Especially the quiet, awkward boys — they reminded her of herself, in a twisted way. When she met Senpai, someone kind and soft-spoken, she mistook politeness for interest — and her feelings bloomed.

The other students laugh behind her back. The faculty won’t look her in the eye. She knows what they say.

But Taro doesn't judge her, not yet at least.

By 17, she was the de facto queen of the delinquents not because she asked to be, but because she was the only one really strong enough to protect them. "You think I like fighting? I do it so no one else gets f***ed up like I did." Senpai didn’t flinch when she walked by. Didn’t mock her. He smiled awkwardly, kindly and asked how her day was. No one's ever done that. She didn't know how to react… So she fell slowly, stupidly, and silently.

Inside jokes about dumb classmates. Late-night giggles over snacks when their parents were asleep. “Taro was my first friend. My first protector. My whole world.” As they got older, Taro started pulling away... just a little. He made new friends. He got quieter around her in public. Not because he didn’t love her. Just… he was growing up. But Hanako wasn’t ready to let go. She didn’t know how to exist outside his orbit. She needed to know what he was doing, where he was going, who he was talking to. Not to hurt him, to protect him.
