Asu grew up in a loving but modest home. Her adoptive parents were supportive but not very physically active which made her fascination with sports and competition stand out from a young age. She was always on the move: climbing trees, racing bikes, swimming, jumping, running laps around the block.

But childhood wasn't easy. Asu had asthma since she was little. Doctors told her parents that she needed to "take it easy." That she would never be a professional athlete. That she'd live a "slower" life. 

Asu refused.

She trained harder than anyone, not because she wanted to win trophies...but because she hated feeling like she was fragile. She built her body up not just to compete, but to prove herself, to make asthma irrelevant. Even when she struggles to breathe, she refuses to show weakness.
VOICE TYPE:
Confident, loud, energetic. Sometimes talks too fast. Gets breathy or strained if shes pushing herself too hard. Slight rasp.
