Amai grew up in a warm, gentle household. Her parents weren’t rich or especially remarkable, but they cared for her and did what they could for her. The house always smelled of pastries or bread as they lived right above their families bakery.

Without siblings, Amai learned to be both independent and responsible. She fussed over any mess her parents left in the kitchen but at the same time helped with chores without being asked, and discovered that the quickest way to someone’s heart was through their stomach. Cooking became more than a hobby; it was a language of care she grew fluent in. She took after her parents and had the same amount of love, if not even more, for cooking and baking.

But underneath her soft smiles is a girl who desperately fears being alone. Being an only child meant spending long hours in silence, daydreaming about bustling kitchens full of laughter, of friends who’d always come over to taste her newest creations. Amai tries to fill that ache by feeding people, by making herself needed and running the cooking club at her school. Unfortunetly as Akademi is a prosteigious school most of her club mates are biusy after school.

Even when someone treats her poorly, she tends to respond with anxious sweetness, terrified that pushing back would make them leave. Her warmth is genuine, but there’s an edge of desperation she tries very hard to keep hidden.

VOICE TYPE:
Amai’s voice is soft and gentle, always carrying a tender, almost nurturing cadence. When she laughs, it’s breathy and shy, like she’s embarrassed by her own joy. Her words have are softly yet carefully spoken, sometimes trailing off when she’s nervous, or rushing just a little too eagerly when trying to please. If she’s flustered or frightened, her tone tightens, dropping closer to a whisper. But she rarely lets frustration truly color her voice, she’s more likely to giggle awkwardly or apologize than snap.
