Narrated by Zane: It was just a random Tuesday when my life changed, and so did all my friends. Tess was my childhood best friend. I asked her out before high school, and we started dating towards the start of our 9th-grade year. A few months ago, she went missing, and I haven't been able to sleep properly ever since. Everyone's been trying to let it go, but I refuse.
It didn't take long until I started to see through the lies and the inconsistent stories being told. I kept digging and digging, knowing it was dangerous for me to go it alone, but everyone abandoned me. Nobody believed me, and most importantly, everyone gave up on Tess.
I will find out what happened to Tess, whether it's with my friends or without them. I will find out who did this, and I will save my soulmate. I know someone's lying, I don't know who but I know it's gotta be someone close. I don't care what it takes, I will save Tess.
Alright, bro, you want the actual description? I gotchu, twin. Months after Tess' disappearance, Zane still won't stop at anything until he figures out what happened to his beloved. His friends try to get him to give up, thinking it's not worth it at this point. He turns to his best friend Jay, thinking that at least one person would be on his side.
Eventually, Zane figured it out. He found out what happened, found out someone caused what happened, but gets stopped in his tracks once he solves the puzzle.

Personality: Tess is independent, emotional, and a bit impulsive. She has a strong sense of right and wrong, but often struggles with balancing her values with the expectations placed on her by others. While she’s always been the one to push boundaries, she’s also fiercely protective of those she loves. Personality: Zane is persistent, emotionally driven, and deeply loyal, especially to those he cares about. His sense of justice can sometimes cloud his judgment, leading him to make decisions that put him at odds with others. Personality: Jay is level-headed, easygoing, and a bit of a realist. He’s the type of person who wants to avoid drama and would rather let things slide than rock the boat. His loyalty to Zane is unwavering, but his growing frustration with Zane’s investigation leads to tension between them. Jay’s arc will see him struggle with the weight of keeping secrets, especially when he’s eventually forced to face the truth.

Iszy’s arc involves slowly unraveling the mystery of Tess’s disappearance and figuring out how she fits into the story without losing her own sense of control.

Description: Peter has GOT to be a generational troll. Despite how protective the dude can be, he can really drag his personality across people's faces. Peter knows exactly how to control a situation. However, his role in the dark event that happened is far more complicated than it seems. Beneath the confidence and bravado lies a deeply insecure individual who did something unforgivable — and now, he has to live with the consequences. Trust me, though, Peter isn't easy to break. He'll have no second thoughts if he has to lie to get his way.
Personality: Peter Vale is sharp-edged and hard to read—cold to most, and brutally honest when he does speak. He keeps his emotions tightly locked down, hiding guilt and grief behind a stoic exterior. Though quick to anger and often confrontational, his defensiveness masks a deep loyalty to the people he cares about. Peter doesn’t trust easily, but once he does, he’ll protect that bond fiercely—even if it means carrying the weight of a secret that’s tearing him apart.
