FRACTURED BONDS - Minecraft Movie (or roleplay series bro idk)
sejlaw for Maxine "Max" Liu - FEMALE
Pronunciation: Maxine (MAX-een) Liu (lee-you)
Role: Supporting / One of the two who were with Tess
Description: Max is quiet and observant, often standing in the background of the group’s activities. She’s deeply introspective and tends to avoid confrontation. She was close to Tess but isn’t as emotionally expressive as others in the group. Max often holds herself back, fearing rejection or conflict. While she’s not the first person Zane would turn to for answers, Max’s calm and steady demeanor might hide a side of her that Zane never expected.
Personality: Max is thoughtful, introspective, and empathetic. She listens more than she speaks, and she often carries the emotional weight of others' problems on her shoulders. Her arc revolves around her struggle to find her voice and take a more active role in the group. Her secret fears about Tess’s disappearance and her connection to the group’s shared past are slowly revealed as the story unfolds.
“I hate how things changed. It used to feel so simple... like we actually knew each other. Don't think just because I don't talk much means that I don't know shit”
(Serious) “You don’t get it, Zane. If you keep digging, you’re not gonna find peace — you’re gonna find something worse.”
(Tearfully) “I’m sorry. I wish I could take it all back. But if I had to choose again… I don’t know if I’d do anything differently.”
thanks for auditioning, quick reminder that I'm sending feedback atm, not yet accepting or denying auditions.
I actually really admire how well I feel you've portrayed Max's voice. I never had an ideal voice for her, but it feels like yours is incredibly accurate to what I hoped for. I also like how you can portray an "I don't really care" voice through voice acting, which whether you did on purpose or not, is really impressive.
I will soon be getting ready to start accepting and denying so feel free to slide to the discord whenever, it'd be great to keep in touch
Thank you! Means a lot LOL! I tried a few different ways on these lines and I found that using an "I don't care" tone through it really made it pop more. I kept rereading through the desc. and personality and found that tone sounded the best out of all my tries for her. Also, It's really nice that you comment on the auditions giving advice/complimenting the auditioners! I'm sure many people appreciate it on here.
