Description: Tess is the girl whose disappearance sets the whole story into motion. Though she isn’t seen in the present timeline often, her voice is a key emotional anchor through flashbacks, recordings, or journal entries. Tess is deeply introspective and artistic, with a quiet strength. She’s not just a victim — she knew more than she let on and may have left behind the first clues to the truth.
Personality: Tess is independent, emotional, and a bit impulsive. She has a strong sense of right and wrong, but often struggles with balancing her values with the expectations placed on her by others. While she’s always been the one to push boundaries, she’s also fiercely protective of those she loves. Tess’s return — or the knowledge of her disappearance — will force old wounds to reopen, especially with Zane, as unresolved feelings and betrayal simmer beneath the surface.
