Witness Creed (Script)

Witness Creed (Script)

Project Overview

The project is still in development, so the voice acting won't be until early next year as there are still plenty of segments of the game that need to be finished.

NOTE: This project WILL be paid, but because we have yet to discuss prices (I know that it will be by line) I set the budget to 0. I will change this once I have more info from the creators. You will also need a good microphone. I will update you more on the project. Thank you for those who auditioned!

There also is no set deadline, I'll probably extend some deadlines in case we haven't found voices yet. Thank you for your interest in this project, I will include more information soon!

Witness Creed is a survival style horror game featuring three characters: a female protagonist named Naomi Ichikawa, her deceased friend Tia Floyd, and a serial killer named William Reed.

For this game, Naomi is trying to find evidence that her friend Tia was murdered rather than just having gone missing. To do this, she goes to the abandoned school where she believes she was murdered in order to find the body parts of her friend to bring to the police. However, she runs into the man who killed her and is forced to try and survive against him while trying to get enough proof for the police, only to realize she has been locked in and is forced to try and escape via the rooftop by accessing the second floor. On top of all of this, Naomi must also cope with not only finding the physical pieces of her friend, but also her angry spirit who is hellbent on putting part of the blame on Naomi on the second floor where she was killed.

William Reed is expected to sound like a normal, older family man in many of the early scenes such as in patrolling motions and searching. In our chase scenes, we want him sounding more maniacal, desperate, and aggressive. In post chase scenes, we want him sounding more normal or confused depending on the line itself.

  • 1) "I wonder what I’ll have for dinner tonight. Maybe some steak, potatoes, and tea? Mint tea sounds pleasant." (Family-like yet still maintaining eeriness, during a patrol).

    2) "Well well, I wonder who that could be." (Reaction to noise).

  • 3) "You remind me a lot of my wife… Always running away from me. What next, you’ll be like my mother? My kids?" (Searching for protagonist).

    4) "You’re driving me crazy… Taking up all of my time. I have things to do after this, you know!" (Search ended, player not found).

  • 5) "I’m getting tired of your silly games!" (In an active chase).

    6) "These halls look familiar. I should be at home though… I could have sworn-... No no, It’s okay honey, I’ll get you another piece. I’ll keep you whole. Her nails will fit you nicely…" (Chase ended).

Tia Floyd is meant to sound distressed, lost, and constantly upset. In moments where it sounds as if she is reliving her death, we would like her to sound as if she is too with screams and a tone of agony. When encountering Naomi, we expect more of an angry and confused tone with undertones of shakiness and grief. Some lines will need to be more convincing in nature although still shaky, such as when Tia attempts to talk the player/Naomi into dying for her.

Note: Try to sound emotional as possible for Tia, she is a wrathful and vengeful spirit, so we'll need some aggression from those who are auditioning.

  • 1) "Can anyone hear me?! I need help! I’m bleeding! Somebody help me! Look at me! Look outside! Call the police!" (Reliving death).

    2) "I thought we were friends. You promised me that we would always be friends, so why don’t you want to join me? I’m so lonely without anyone! Fulfill your promise to me! Stay with me!" (Spotted Naomi, no chase yet).

  • 3) "Wouldn’t you prefer that I kill you instead of him, Naomi? I promise it won’t be so bad! I would never want to hurt you as badly as I was hurt!" (Active chase).

  • 4) "Don’t leave, I’ll go back to that place! I’ll feel dead again! I’ll relive it all again! Don’t let me leave this place! I want to stay here physical, alive, with you!" (Chase ended, failed).
