Hi there, as any who has spent a lot of time with anime you should know that not all great series get created and even those that do hardly ever get completed like Naruto & Fairy Tail I mean just look at Bleach it's Manga counterpart has been completed for years and they still haven't done anything about it as such I had to read the manga to see the conclusion but we're not here to talk about that today, no today I am here to share with you my newest favorite anime and that is Wiseman's Grandchild or Kenja no Mago in Japanese and well it has a similar vibe to all those that came before of one that is almost the perfect Isekai Anime and yet will not last past it's 1st Season so I want to make sure everyone sees the conclusion to the story by making a mangadub of the series I will be playing Adult Shin but all others are game.
Plot: One day while walking home from work completely exhausted a young man is hit by a truck and killed he is then reincarnated in another world where his parents are killed by Demon Beasts a Wise Old Man who just so happened to also be a wizard found the wreckage and carnage and decides to give them a proper burial when he hears a baby crying he decides to raise the child as his own Grandson and names him Shin over the next 15 years Merlin teaches Shin magic techniques and his old Partner Melinda teaches how to Enchant Objects and clothing an old friend of theirs Michel teaches Shin combat techniques and how to fight and Shin excels at everything.
15 Years go by in a flash and Shin is pronounced an adult by law of this new world and he celebrates with those closes to him his grandfather, grandmother and his swordsman instructor along with a few other friends including Tom Hagg a Merchant King Diseum or who Shin referred to as Uncle Dis and there was also the royal guards Big Sis Christa and Big Bro Sig Merlin thought it would be a good idea for everyone to see just how powerful Shin had gotten over the years and so he uses a unique spell called Gate that folded Space to travel to different points and he used a very powerful fire spell that left a crator in it's wake after that everyone has a serious talk about what to do if Shin went to a town or city he'd be worse than a natural disaster not to mention if another country learned of his power and strength so Uncle Dis offers to allow Shin to tryout for the entrance exam at the Magical Academy of his own kingdom and so Merlin and Melinda decide to travel with Shin to the capital where Shin is is bound to meet many friends and have many an adventure this is where Shin's story really begins.
Rules for Auditioning!:
Rule #1: You must have a decent microphone so no background noise I need to only hear your voice otherwise it'll be pretty bad for the mangadub you understand I hope.
Rule #2: Be committed I'm not looking for anyone just deciding to do this on a whim this is going to start from chapter #1 and will end when the manga itself ends and I want a consistent voice for all characters large and small so unless your fully committed you might as well just audition for extras or not at all.
Rule #3: You must have a discord account so we can talk about how to deliver your lines and even do some practice before you upload your liens to the google-drive where I will keep all the useful info such as the manga the script I'll even upload the anime but yes you will need a Discord Account 150% if you want to be considered for this role.
Rule #4: This is probably pretty obvious but be respectful to others even before you've been cast don't bully other people who audition and if you aren't cast don't take it personally I just have a specific voice in mind for most of the characters or a general idea anyway and you might not fit anyway that doesn't mean your not talented it just means I wasn't looking for that.
Rule #5: Now this is probably the most important rule and one you need to follow to the letter if you want to survive this experience... have fun this is only a fan production and is meant for those watching and those involved to be entertained so have fun and enjoy the experience.
Just one last message for everyone before you go see the cast this is a fan project as I've mentioned several times already so this is probably pretty obvious but I'll say it anyway I won't be able to pay anyone otherwise it won't fall on the fair use agreement on youtube so yeah sorry also I'm only a student and if I paid one person I'd need to pay everyone and I don't have that kind of doe just lying around but I hope you all commit yourselves all the same and have fun looking forward to hearing from you all.
So far this character has only appeared at the beginning of the series it's always possible he'll reappear in flashbacks he is Shin Wolfred growing up in the forest outside the Kingdom he may be a kid but he is surprisingly mature for his age given the fact he remembers his previous life it's not actually that surprising he is a progeny with pretty much everything he's an excellent swordsman, his magic is on par with the Wiseman Merlin and his Enchanting Skills are 2nd only the Melinda the Guru herself suffice to say when Shin grows up he will be a force to be reckoned with

But sometimes I get flashes of memories of a life I can almost remember I believe I once lived in a place called Japan on a planet named Earth I think I died but I can't remember how.

Shin has all grown up and is now ready to move forward in his life he is one of the few people to make it to S-Class at the Magic Academy he becomes friends with Prince August right away and his magic is 2nd to none in the entire campus he is very cheerful and rather smitten with Sicily von Claude and does everything in his power to protect her it is no stretch of the imagination to say he would die to protect her.
Well, I'll admit that does sound like a very heroic profession, however guys who hunt girls too are just scum in my book.

The Ex-Partner and Husband of Melinda back in the day they took down the first Humanoid Demon ever to appear and ever since he has been hailed as Merlin the Wiseman which embarrasses him although he hates to admit it, he kind of enjoys the attention however it can get a bit much he was the one who found Shin when he was but a baby after a monster attack his parents were killed but miraculously he survived and Merlin raised him as his Grandson he dotes on him and lets him get away with a little too much, he is a sweet kind and caring old man and does all he can so that Shin can have a normal life.
These poor people, a terrible fate to be at the mercy of demons (sad sigh) the least I can do is give them a proper burial. (hears crying) What's that sound? A Baby?
I'm sorry I should have told you sooner but their bodies were damaged beyond recognition and their wasn't anything that substantial among their belongings so I have no idea who your parents are.

Merlin's Ex-Partner and Ex-Wife back in the day the took down the first Demon ever to show up and ever since she has been hailed as Melinda the Guru much to her dismay she gets embarrassed very easily which is probably one of the reasons she decided to live out in the woods but when Shin decided to move to the city she went with him and Merlin to make sure neither got into too much trouble. She is a sweet, kind, and caring soul and is the best Enchanter the Kingdom has ever known.

One of Merlin and Melinda's old friends he used to be the Knight Commander of the Order and even gained the nickname The Sword Saint he taught Shin how to fight as a favor to Merlin and even enjoyed it a little Shin however found it torturous and even saw him as a Training Devil however when he's not training Michel was a kind man almost like an Uncle however Shin remembers him more for his training than anything else.

The current King of the Kingdom of Earlshide and was in fact saved by Merlin and Melinda when he was a young man he was nearly killed by the Humanoid Demon and they have been good friends ever since he came around a lot while Shin was growing up and is like a Uncle to him and Diseum cares for Shin as a Nephew and even offers to get him into the exams for his Magical Academy and promises to never use him for Military gain. He is a kind and just King but knows when to bring the hammer of justice down to protect his people.

King Diseum's Knight Protector has a lot of trouble making sure he stays on task when he's home at the capital but manages to keep him safe somehow she is like Shin's Big Sis she even calls him little brother a lot and dotes on him like a little brother. She can also be quite terrifying if she needs to be, she does not get along with the King's Magical Knight protector Siegfried
Luckily he isn't sick enough in the head to think in those terms.

King Diseum's Magical Knight protector has a lot of trouble making sure he stays safe with all the trips he takes outside the Kingdom to Merlin but manages it somehow Christina would most likely say it's more thanks to her than anyone else, Siegfried when he's not protecting the King is trying to pick up girls he would prefer it if he could marry a wealthy girl so he never had to work again which ticks Christina off a lot, he does not get along with the King's Knight protector Christina
If the working life's not your thing with your looks you could get a girlfriend to support you. (laughs)

Tom Hagg is a simple merchant who knows Shin from all the times he traveled to Merlin's Cabin to deliver goods and even helped Shin by letting him buy things from him when he visited. it is unknown how he knows Merlin exactly but it's clear they are good friends and he cares about Shin's well-being as much as anyone else.

A Simple City guard who unintentionally alerted the entire city of the fact that Merlin & Melinda had returned with a Grandson he only appears once.
Note; If you get cast just as this role you may audition for a more main stream character in the future however I want all Main-Minor Characters to only be voiced by one person but at least 5 Extras can be voiced by the same person.

Maria von Messina is a strong-willed determined girl who loves everything about Merlin and Melinda she's been a fan since she was a little girl and doesn't realize that Shin is their grandson until the entrance ceremony when he is called up to give a speech she may be tough but she's still a women and is in love with the idea of a Prince in Shining Armour coming to her rescue but all the creeps that creep on her get beaten up before anyone has a chance too, she becomes a little disheartened when all her friends start falling in love while she remains single, but doesn't let it keep her down.

Sicily von Claude is a sweet, kind, and caring girl she is also very beautiful unfortunately this also gets the unwanted attention of Sexist pricks like the Demon Hunters Shin first saves her and Maria from and ... who stalks her and even claims her as his Fiance when he is rejected by her he doesn't take it lightly thankfully Shin was there Sicily and Shin become very close very quickly and she doesn't realize it until Maria forces her to accept that her feelings for Shin are love from then on she is determined to tell him how she feels but fails nearly every time until he himself confesses to her on a starry night. After that she becomes very protective of Shin and even has a look to instill absolute fear and terror in both Shin and the women who enjoy teasing him.
