The Ex-Partner and Husband of Melinda back in the day they took down the first Humanoid Demon ever to appear and ever since he has been hailed as Merlin the Wiseman which embarrasses him although he hates to admit it, he kind of enjoys the attention however it can get a bit much he was the one who found Shin when he was but a baby after a monster attack his parents were killed but miraculously he survived and Merlin raised him as his Grandson he dotes on him and lets him get away with a little too much, he is a sweet kind and caring old man and does all he can so that Shin can have a normal life.
