This is a passion project so unfortunately it will be unpaid. If it does well and we're able to make revenue off it then pay will be something to look forward to.

Wifield is my Zombie Apocalypse worldbuilding project I have worked on for the past 3 years. Wifield takes place in the year 2012 AD but if you're inside the walls it is 1 AZ. Wifield itself is a large city within an unnamed US Territory on the island of Hispaniola in the Caribbean. The City itself was used as a testing site for Bioweapons which eventually resulted in the BZ1 Virus also known as The Blight. The City is completely walled off from the world outside. It has been 4 months since the pathogen wrought havoc upon the city. It was only after the world went to shit that people finally knew what the walls were for. Before the outbreak Wifield was a common place for people to escape to whether for work, vacation, or to move there to escape the difficulties of life back home. It was a place where the rich and powerful would go to spend their vacations doing exotic game hunting and sport fishing and the same place where the common man could easily find work and put food on the table. It had a plethora of job availability and to the rest of the world it looked like paradise. The story follows a group of survivors trying their best to escape the walls and make it to the mainland. The primary threat are the infected. Both the living and the dead succumb to it and if you kill a living one it won't stop until the brain is destroyed. But there are more than just Zombies in this city and the living people aren't the worst things out there
Some characters do have preferred accents BUT You don't have to do any accent if you don't want to.
Feel free to improvise lines if you want! You don't have to say exactly what is written for the character's to say
This project is 16+ and deals with darker topics some may not be comfortable with YOU MUST BE OKAY WITH CURSING!!
Beginners are welcome! You don't need to be the absolute best at Voice Acting or any other roles I may list to take part in this project!

Do note that if you don't include your discord username then I won't accept your audition because Discord is where we'll be working on this.

Voice Actor
A former United States Marine who moved to the city to escape his troubled past and the traumas of war. He's seen it all during his time in the marines and hoped he could make a better life within Wifield. He is 55 and a more heavyset man.
When he arrived in Wifield he made life for himself selling homemade moonshine on the banks of the Kenner River.
He's lighthearted and rarely takes things seriously. After all he's seen enough that he believes he deserves to take things lightly instead of worrying all the time. He knows when to be serious but oftentimes his laid back attitude and snarky remarks land him in trouble with others

I saw the damn thing rip through a man's neck without even blinkin'! all as its fucking guts and shit were hangin' from its belly...okay I might be exaggeratin' but you get what I'm goin for here right?"
(Irritated, He's tried of this conversation) "Shit boy. Them religious folk couldn't tell their asses from a hole in the ground... I tell ya what, you go talk to em' see how well that goes for ya"
(Laughing and happy)"Haha! Now ain't that some shit? You found a workin' car out here? Damn not a bad find kid not bad at all!"
Voice Actor
A former Correctional Officer for the Wifield City Prison. He's a well known and well respected man amongst the survivors within the walls.
Joseph genuinely believes that there is still good in the world and that even now as the world falls apart around him he can help everyone. He's a kindhearted man who still struggles with taking a life even the undead. He's used to violence and has had his fair share of fights especially when he worked in the prison before the outbreak. He is 33
he's kind and always puts others first. Even when his needs are what should be a priority he'll put the lives of others before his own

(Curious) "So...where to today? Last time we were at Raafi's he said that The Shellway was cleared out when the Wardens moved through it last week

Miriam Niles is the one who created the BZ1 Pathogen. She worked for The US Government alongside Glasswater Pharmaceuticals to create the infection. She's a part of the main group but that doesn't mean she's a good person. She's troubled and feels intense guilt for being the creator of the creation of the pathogen. She's narcissistic and unable to accept that the outbreak was her fault so she blames others mostly the US government for it. Despite feeling guilty for causing the outbreak she doesn't care much for other people and is mostly concerned with saving herself first. She is 25

(Exhausted and irritated) "Ughh I just want to lie down! How much longer are you assholes going to make me walk?"
(Disgusted) "No. no no no NO! I am NOT walking through that! What do you take me for? A Vagrant!?"

Raafi runs a shop in the Fenway (also called The Fens), which is what used to be the slums, called "Scrap Kings". He sells almost anything one would need from weapons and ammo to food and spare parts. you could even get a car off of his people if you could afford it. He usually trades and takes things of equal price in exchange for his goods. He's not a bad person but he looks out for his people first and doesn't offer free handouts despite how much someone may need it. He's a charming guy and came to Wifield from the UAE originally as a vacation but when the airports shut down he set up a shop within the Fenway. He's 22

Oscar is the leader of The Wardens. The Wardens are the remnants of the small military force sent into Wifield after the outbreak hit. After becoming unable to leave because they were "Contaminated" The Wardens set up near the South Wall in Ward 10 (Which is why people call them Wardens). He's a stern and serious man who refuses to show weakness around his followers. He's not cruel but is highly cautions around others and has an itchy trigger finger that he always makes an excuse for when he fires his rifle. The Wardens don't have a very good reputation within the walls because people associate them with the government that abandoned them

Classic Wifield.” “Don’t forget your boots and machetes! And if you’re traveling near the Flooded Library—bring a friend. Or don’t. I’m not your mom.” “That’s your Wifield Weather. Stay dry, stay deadly.”
"Alright, survivors. This one’s for you. I know it feels like the world’s gone sideways—and it has, really—but remember something: you’re not alone. Every day, someone makes it through another day. Every time you survive, you become part of something bigger. And speaking of surviving… If you’re near Ward 13, there’s a quiet spot you might not know about. A small stash of medical supplies was recently discovered by a group of scavengers. It’s mostly bandages, painkillers, and a few bottles of antiseptic. But hey, that’s something, right? Just be careful—there’s a lot of infected hanging around that area, and not all of them are friendly. And remember—if you’re low on ammo, consider using your improvised weapons. A brick, a crowbar, or even a busted car door can get the job done, especially when you don’t have a gun to your name. Stay clever, stay alive, and for the love of all things sacred, stay humble. Catch you later, folks."
"Alright, time for some real talk—science-style, but I promise to keep the words small and the panic smaller." "Let’s talk about infection latency. The rumors are true—some folks aren’t turning right away anymore. We’ve had confirmed cases of a 48-hour window between exposure and full conversion. That means the rules are shifting. Again." [A soft tapping sound—probably Sisu nervously drumming fingers.] "If you get hit, don’t try to hide it. Isolation might save the people around you. And if you see someone you care about looking pale, sweating too much, pupils blown wide—don’t wait. Don’t freeze. The Blight doesn’t wait either." "I know it’s hard. I know it sucks. But this is how we survive." "Knowledge is your weapon. Fear? Just dead weight."

Geb runs the Project Bitemark radio station that focuses on information about the infected and general news within the city unlike Sisu who is more of an entertainer. Geb doesn't need high energy and he's generally calm and tired sounding

Syndicate checkpoints are active near the Bayline on alternate days. Wardens are holding Ridgepoint Bridge, and they’re not taking bribes. You want through, bring trade permits or be ready to walk back bloody. Reminder: Trade priority is medicals, clean water, batteries. No one’s trading for luxury anymore. Stay sharp.”

Beelwade is the leader of The Guerillas. A faction that runs the Wifield City Zoo. He's easily angered and is as intimidating as it comes. He runs The Guerillas with his former cellmates known as The Original 13.
Beelwade was in prison before the Outbreak hit for Piracy (Not the internet kind. The Steal a cargo ship kind) He is Jamaican
Beelwade tries to see people for who they are and not what they make themselves out to be. He values honesty no matter how brutal the honesty may be and is typically seen as fair in his judgement. He DESPISES the Supply Syndicate.
Beelwade goes by Roosevelt when talking with others. A name he chose to honor Joseph Roosevelt who saved his life when the Outbreak hit.
When he was in prison Beelwade was treated like dirt beneath the feet of the other prisoners but Joseph Roosevelt was good to him and he will never forget that.
He often writes or records his thoughts to keep them as a reminder and as a journal of events for those who come after. He is 34

(Calm and Angered, He just killed someone) “You wore a badge like his. But you never earned it. You pointed your gun at a child. The man I named myself after? He would've shot you.”
(Resolved, He's reminiscing) “You gave me the key. A real one—steel, chipped, heavy. You said, ‘Save who you can.’ I still hear that. Every time I have to choose between life and death. Between leaving someone or dragging them through fire. That was the first order I ever followed. It’s the only one I never questioned.”

Father Holland is the leader of The Church of The Blighted. A religious group that worships the BZ1 Pathogen. They see the infected as emissaries of God and divine beings that overtake mortals in order to bring judgement unto the unworthy. They believe that these are the end times and the rapture is at hand.
Father Holland is a genuinely evil man. He's cruel and always calm, rarely ever raising his voice unless its a sermon. He has no care for human life and often kills people in offerings to God so that "The Emissaries May Take Root". He is 51

(Calm with reserved anger as he talks to someone who's angered him) "You're quite the serpent aren't you? You come here and ruin everything I have built. And you have thrown away all I have given you out of the kindness of my heart. I've been nothing but kind to you Noah but it seems that kindness only went one way."

Reece is the primary antagonist. He is the leader of The Supply Syndicate. He originally was sent to Wifield in order to find out what happened to cause the outbreak back when it first started. He came in with The Wardens but went rogue when he realized he could make more money and power if he stayed and found a way to export the pathogen out of the city and sell it to the highest bidder. He controls a lot of the city and his men function like a cartel. They offer loans of supplies and food while stockpiling most for themselves just so they can control what goes out that way Reece has everyone under his thumb. He's by far the most powerful person within the walls. He's 32
Reece is charismatic and offers 'help' to people in the city but this help comes with high interest rates that people need to pay back. However since there isn't much left that the Syndicate hasn't already gotten to it means that people have no way to pay back their loans when the syndicate comes for them. This usually results in indentured servitude until their debts are 'paid off'
