Project Overview
Hello, my name is April and I run a channel on YouTube called April's Stories in which I use the sandbox game "Minecraft" in order to produce television and movie style videos for your viewing pleasure.
I would very much like it if you auditioned for my latest project: And Then We Met.
Synopsis: Aurora Dillon Hiroto is a 17 year old girl suffering from PTSD. She recently moved from the United States to Japan and is attending an international high school. After being homeschooled for years, Aurora tries her best to deal with the teenage drama everyone talks about.
Discord will be the main form of communication, so please include your discord name and tag number with your audition.
As I am notorious for including sensitive subjects in my projects, please keep in mind you will be required to do one or more of the following if you are casted:
- Discuss dark/deep topics including death, suicide, sexual assault, etc.
- Swear or use offensive language

Asahi is one of the popular boys in the international school. He’s smart, kind, and every girl (and some boys) wants him. He’s extremely nice due to his insecurities and hates conflict. His family puts a lot of pressure on him, so much so that Asahi moved away from them in order to prove to them that he can do things on his own.
(apologetic) I'm sorry for bumping into you. Hi! I'm Asahi. You're new here right?
(warm) Hey Aurora! How are you doing? I heard you joined the drama club recently, are you having fun?
Sawyer is the typical bad boy. He does drugs, skips school, and treats the people around him poorly if he finds them annoying. Underneath that persona, he’s caring, which he despises. He is an orphan and lives with his grandmother, who he barely sees as he is always out or she is working.
(cold) What do you want, newbie?
(amused) Well that certainly is one way to get down the stairs.
Sakura is at the top of her class. She is hardworking, cold, and punctual. She has a twin sister named Kiku who is her foil. She is extremely protective of her friends and loved ones and has anger issues, due to past trauma with relationships.
(apathetic) It is what it is, people will be pretentious and suck ups in order to get what they want. Don't let it bother you.
(competitive/angry) Alright that's it! I've had enough of your bullshit, Sho! Next test, you better get ready because I will beat you!
Nico is a geek. He loves playing video games and reading manga. He’s pretty quiet due to his anxiety disorder, but with the help of his friends, he slowly gets out of his little shell. He’s gentle, shy, but highly competitive. He is also in the closet.
(shy) U-Um... if you want you can take the seat next to me. I'm sure Sawyer won't mind.
(nerding out) No way! You have the limited edition copy of Rabu Hatsu?! Can I borrow it?!
Raina is the most popular girl in school. Every boy (and some girls) wants her and she has a huge crush on Asahi. She is smarter than she lets on, but doesn’t show it as she believes it would make boys less attracted to her. She stirs up trouble when Aurora arrives in the school. Raina suffers from anorexia due to insecurities and body dysmorphia.
(snarky) You're seriously so dumb. You use the Trapezoidal Rule for this problem, not the formula. God do you even pay attention?
(disguted) Oh my God! How dare you touch me?! Get your filthy hands off of me you heathen!
Meghan is Aurora’s (the main character) aunt and filed for federal custody over her. She succeeded and quickly moved her niece to Japan. She is hardworking, resilient, and tenacious.
(warm) Hey, how was school today?
(curtly) On the contrary sir, I think my niece quite enjoys living here with me.
Annalynn is rather manipulative and is extremely jealous of Raina. She, like Raina and Kiku cares deeply about her popularity and does everything she can to make sure she stays on top. She, Raina and Kiku love to be the center of attention.
(condescending) Says the one who isn't even at the top thirty. Stop acting like you know everything.
(annoyed) Ugh this again. What do you want, loser?
Kiku is Sakura’s twin sister. Unlike Sakura, Kiku is very concerned with popularity and dating. She is one of the popular girls in school and doesn’t care much about her grades, but does the bare minimum to pass. She, like Sakura, deeply cares for her friends and loved ones.
(annoyed) Honestly, my sister is so annoying! Like I get it school is important or whatever, but come on, it's not life!
(confused) Wait, so what are we doing here again?
Sho is at the top of his class and is the tall silent type. He loves teasing Sakura, despite her continuously insulting him. He doesn’t say much due to being a slight sociopath, but he does care for the people he holds close. He, Asahi, and Elios are good friends.
(condescending) Says the one who isn't even at the top thirty. Stop acting like you know everything.
(annoyed) Ugh this again. What do you want, loser?
Elios is a comic. He loves making people laugh because he is scared of people laughing at him. He has a lot of hidden insecurities and he does everything he can to stand out as he comes from a large family. Elios is a nice guy and he, Asahi and Sho are good friends.
(snarky) Oh come on now Asahi! If you have a crush on her just admit it! We're not judging.
(amused) He totally has the hots for her.
Dr. Asago is Aurora’s therapist. He is unbiased and supportive.
(professional) So, how was your first day, Aurora?
(comforting) It's not your fault. No one can make you feel that way unless you allow them to.
