Project Overview

Introduction

A 2d-animated fan series based primarily on the concept of genre-blending the Ultraman Series with Batman! the Animated Series, Ultraman Tachyon: The Adventures of Knightblitz is a 3-season, 25 minute-per-episode fan series, with a total of 95 episodes included in the show (35 in season 1), positioned as a prequel to the events of Ultraman M/L/V.

It will be one of two initial major projects in the fanfiction continuity known as the Multiverse of Eyilunas, which is generally based primarily on the Ultraman Series by Tsuburaya Productions, a major Japanese Tokusatsu studio founded by Eiji Tsuburaya, the “father of Tokusatsu”.

General Info

The series’s premise is simple: it is a genre blend that takes the Kaiju fights of the Ultraman Series and the noir detective drama of Batman: The Animated Series to create something that is a homage and love letter to both while simultaneously being genuinely new.

Deadline

The deadline for casting is March 11th, 2026 at 6:30 PM UTC -6. There are plans to extend it if this project does not receive its full crew between now and that date.

Payment

Previous projects by project manager GodzillaLouise have had a long history of updates with payment, going from paid to unpaid, in-between and back. As such, this particular casting call will remain UNPAID. This is a volunteer job.

Production Timeline

There is no production timeline for this project. We will try to have the first season ready for publication by early 2030, but we will make no promises.

Post-Casting

After being cast, you will be sent a link to join a private discord server for Ultraman M/L/V, which is where internal matters concerning Ultraman M/L/V and this project, will primarily be handled and managed.

If you cannot join the project discord server for some reason, that is, admittedly, not entirely preferably, but is totally reasonable. Just let me know where else you’d prefer to discuss the project and I will oblige.
