Hello, thanks for passing by this project! From what you might or not have heard is that McDonald's has its limited-time meal right now and is even promoted with a manga and anime mini-series. I had thought of dubbing the manga when I came across the website and I did want to have fresh content for my YouTube channel, so the opportunity is now!
We will be fandubbing all four manga volumes, having it animated, and uploaded to YouTube in time to have it relevently fresh (out of the fryer) before or after the event ends. We might fandub the anime shorts and other fan content if the entire crew is okay with it. To look over the series for episodes or character lore, check out their original website.
We're also hiring animators to help edit the mangas to visually move and appear. Currently, Shizuru is reserved for me to also be involved not only as a director. If a different character is announced, I'll put up her role available to audition. The current deadline for this will be on Saturday, March 22 at midnight (CST).
Please do know this is not involved or sponsored by any of McDonald's, Acky Bright, or Studio Perriot's production on the original material.
Character Audition Requirements
*You must be at least 16+ to audition. I've had some friends on Discord who could help direct the project with me, despite them being under the age requirement. I don't really want to have cast members to be underage, but it could be exceptional if it's only necessary.
*This will be a short-term project depending on if the group wants to continue the project with fandubbing other content.
*Discussing the project will be on the project's Discord server. Please have your Discord username/tag in the description of your audition to have you invited. If you're unable to send your work there, let me know so you can send them via email.
*Please have a decent microphone for recording your auditions and your recordings if you get cast. Little to no background noise or static is fine with me as long as it won't be heard in the final product. But recording with a crowd talking behind, pipes running, or having it peak the mic is a big no.
If you use a Yeti mic or other Logitech gear to audition, download Logitech G HUB to adjust the mic's settings.
*Have a couple of takes or improv to your audition to have an extra chance to get cast. I won't force you to do so, but I am curious to hear if your charisma and vibes to your auditions are approved. The audition lines are optional to say and demos similar to the description are also fine.
*Going forward with the project, it will be an anti-discriminating and only a comfortable working zone. Harassing anyone auditioning or other members will have you rejected or replaced in the project.
*Casting everyone will be only chosen by the end of the deadline, so it's fine to audition any time before it to have a chance. Favoritism for known members won't be used for these.
*Feeling upset about not getting cast? No worries! We will have more characters to include in the casting call soon by the volume, so stay tuned for updates! You're also welcome to state in your audition if you would want to voice a background character. (ex. Commercial Announcer)
Manga Animator Audition Requirements
*Respect other auditions and do not insult their attempt at it.
*It will be dependable if the animators will be paid. I'm a bit in debt right now since I'll be going to college this year and I do want to pay my animators for doing a good job animating and working on time.
*If you want to audition to be paid as well, state your price and I'll decide if I'll have you cast or lower the pay.
*Work on time and let me know if there are any problems. I will also probably hire more than one animator to shorten work time. Additionally, refer to the paid requirements about it.
Any other questions should be stated in the comments of this project and I'll try to answer them at a time. Alrighty, enough talk. Have fun auditioning and return occasionally for news! "Thank you, come again!"
