Hey y'all!
I’ve been a fan of Warrior Cats for about 10 years, and since some of the official novellas don't have audiobooks (Dovewing's Silence, Path of a Warrior, etc.), I wanted to change that.
As a working voice actor and ACX narrator, I'm happy to donate my time to narrate them so fans can listen all in one place on YouTube and Spotify. But because I work a full-time corporate job, I need a producer/editor to help me put it all together, handle uploads, and help with promotion!

(Note: The character lines posted here are just some of the main characters I could think of off the top of my head—you will very likely be asked to voice multiple characters across the project!)
Voice Acting & Casting: Helping voice various characters (since a full cast makes it way more enjoyable to listen to and gives other VAs a chance for exposure!).
Audio Editing & Assembly: Cleaning up files and piecing the project together. (If you use Audacity and have a good mic, I'm happy to teach you the ropes!)
Uploads & Management: Helping organize and publish episodes, communicate with talents, and recruit/review auditions.
Promotion: Getting the word out to the community.
18+ only: While this project contains no NSFW content, I require all participants to be adults. This is to ensure a mature working environment and protect minors from unpredictable community interactions beyond my direct control.
Discord account: Required for communication.
Decent Mic Quality: Needs to meet basic ACX audio standards (clean audio, low noise floor).
Deadline: TBD. The date on Casting Call Club is just for visibility—if a role isn't filled, you can still audition!
Professionalism: I’ve been in the voice acting industry since 2018, and I’m always happy to refer you to paid projects down the line once this wraps up.
Communication: This is an ongoing project that could take a while, but I promise to always communicate clearly and do my best.

Voice guidelines are just there as inspiration; nothing is set in stone. Please use personal interpretation- what they would have sounded like in your head when you were reading. Tone/Pitch is not as important; rather, the ability to convey believable emotions.

I have decided to add in a few roles, also including the MC DoveWing. I originally kept those out for fear of troubling others, but if you are able, please do try to audition.

Voice Actor
A heavy-set, long-furred white tom with bright blue eyes and a bushy, cloud-like tail. Born a kittypet (Firestar's nephew), Cloudtail grew into a fiercely independent, stubborn, and blunt warrior. He famously doesn't believe in StarClan. Despite his abrasive, sarcastic exterior, he is fiercely protective and devoted to Brightheart.
Vocal Profile: Bright, sharp, confident, and slightly higher in pitch than Graystripe but still older. Speaks with a quick, decisive tempo, often laced with snark, impatience, or fiery affection.
"Oh, wonderful. StarClan sent another mysterious dream? You know, maybe if everyone spent less time staring at the stars and more time hunting, the fresh-kill pile wouldn't be empty."
"Look at me, Brightheart. I don't care what you see in the reflection. To me, you are the bravest warrior in this Clan, and you always will be."
"I don't need dead ancestors giving me permission to protect my family! My claws work just fine without a prophecy attached to them!"
Voice Actor
A large, solid, long-haired dark gray tom with yellow eyes and a distinctive stripe of darker fur along his spine. He is warm-hearted, deeply loyal, playful, and easy going.
Vocal Profile: Warm, rich, slightly raspy or chesty mid-to-low range. Naturally expressive with a friendly, booming cadence, but capable of heavy grief and fiercely grounded authority when things get serious.
"You iterate like a kittypet on a soft cushion! Come on, Fireheart, if we don't catch something soon, Dustpelt’s going to make us clean the elder’s bedding for a moon!"
"I didn't choose to fall in love with a RiverClan warrior... but I won't pretend she didn't mean everything to me. I'll fight for ThunderClan until my last breath, even if my heart is buried on the riverbank."
"ThunderClan, attack! Keep them away from the nursery—don't let a single enemy past the gorse hedge!"
Voice Actor
The primary protagonist of the novella. She is grappling with the profound emotional and sensory loss of losing her supernatural powers (hearing things from miles away) after the Great Battle, feeling ordinary, isolated, and anxious about her changing identity and relationship with Tigerheart.
Voice Vibe: Young adult (around 15–25 range), anxious, emotionally overwhelmed, earnest, and deeply reflective.
Since this is the Main protagonist of the book, please ensure you have enough time commitments available to fullfill this role!!

Daughter of the late Firestar and the newly appointed deputy of ThunderClan, tasked with taking temporary command of the hollow while Brambleclaw and Jayfeather head to the Moonpool.
Vocal Range & Age: Alto to Mezzo-Soprano | Mature Adult
Key Accent / Texture: Crisp, direct, slightly raspy/husky with authority.
"Every cat needs to get their wounds checked! That includes every single warrior!"

A well-meaning, earnest ThunderClan warrior who deeply loves Dovewing. Despite his best efforts to support her, he remains completely oblivious to her lost powers and her lingering feelings for Tigerheart.
Vocal Range & Age: Tenor to Light Baritone | Young Adult
"I know things are hard right now, Dovewing, but I'm here for you. Whatever you need."
"Why are you always pulling away from me? Did something happen that you can't tell me about?"

Short Description: The freshly appointed leader of ThunderClan, thrust into power immediately following Firestar’s death in the Great Battle. He carries the immense weight of keeping a shattered Clan united while making tough calls about former Dark Forest trainees.

ThunderClan medicine cat, gentle but weighed down by grief and old secrets. Voice: soft, mid, Gentle, wise, sorrowful. Slightly breathy, like she's tired but still holding herself together.

Thunderclan Medicine cat, blind, blunt, impatient, quietly grieving the loss of his powers. Voice: flat and sardonic, clipped sentences, edge of irritation always simmering underneath.
I personally liked Macleod Andrews 's Takes on it with a hint of raspiness and grumpiness, but up to interpretations

A golden tabby tom with amber eyes and powers that cannot be harmed in battle. A powerhouse warrior whose immense strength makes him both a formidable protector and prone to aggression.

"I will protect my family, no matter who stands in my way."

Dark gray tabby with blue eyes. She’s the reincarnation of Cinderpelt, but she fought tooth and nail to live her own life as a warrior instead of a medicine cat.
Tone / Inflection: Defiant, searching, passionate.

Light brown tabby tom. He made the terrible mistake of training in the Dark Forest as a kid and has spent years trying to make up for it and earn his Clan's trust back.

Description & Role: Cream tom with a stubby tail. He is ridiculously pompous, acts like he’s God's gift to ThunderClan, and loves arguing about protocol.
Tone / Inflection: Arrogant, ambitious, boastful.

Dark brown tabby veteran. He’s old-school, super attached to the warrior code, and completely devastated after losing his longtime mate, Ferncloud.

Plump former kittypet. She doesn't care much about stuffy Clan rules; her entire world is her kits, especially her paralyzed daughter Briarlight.
Tone / Inflection: Fiercely protective, frantic, emotional. Fiercely protective mother helicoptering over an injured child.
"Briarlight! Are you okay? Please don't push yourself too hard!"
"I don't care about Clan traditions, I care about my kits' survival!"

Incredibly resilient, optimistic, and warm-hearted. Paralyzed from the waist down after a falling tree crushed her spine, she refuses to let her disability define her and serves as a pillar of emotional strength in the medicine den.
Voice Vibe: Warm, gentle, soft-spoken, but with an underlying steeliness and fierce resilience (no self-pity).

A gentle, warm-hearted she-cat who was originally a kittypet. She is deeply nurturing, fiercely protective of kits, and often acts as a comforting, maternal heart for the entire ThunderClan nursery.
Voice Vibe: Soft, warm, nurturing, and distinctly domestic or gentle compared to the more hardened Clan warriors.

A fierce, somewhat high-strung, and easily frustrated ThunderClan warrior who felt overshadowed by her mother (Ferncloud) grieving for Briarlight, but ultimately holds a deeply loyal and protective heart.
Voice Vibe: Mid-to-high register, energetic, edgy, and a bit defensive or high-strung.

Dovewing’s sister and former Dark Forest spy. Exhausted and covered in cobwebs and blood, she sits in the clearing beside her sister as the battle ends, trying to offer comfort while struggling to process the reality that the war is finally over.

Creepy, hairless, blind ancient cat. He lives in the tunnels keeping track of all time and destiny.

A gentle, compassionate ThunderClan warrior, Poppyfrost is best known for her fierce loyalty, warm heart, and resilience through deep personal grief. As the daughter of Brackenfur and Sorreltail, she carries her parents' quiet strength and devotion to the Clan, always placing the needs of her Clanmates above her own.
"She was right there... in the nursery. She fought so hard to protect the kits, and then she just... went to sleep. How are we supposed to keep going without her?"
"Don't you dare whisper behind their backs! Molepaw and Cherrypaw worked just as hard as any grown warrior to drag thorns to the barricade today! They deserve rest, not your suspicion!"
