Doctor Who: Resplendent is an alternate-universe fan audio series created and showrun by Aeryn Novell, which I am co-producing!
Episode 6 - "Piggyback to the Future"
The Doctor arrives at a massive county fair in the Kansas farmlands and discovers a broken time-traveling device. What sort of high-falutin ' shenanigans will we get hog-tied into here?
Episode 7 - "Bubble Trouble"
A mall in the 90's, and two kids running a candy store. It's just an ordinary day... until a metal sphere falls through the roof!
This series is currently in pre-production, with casting for each episode beginning at the first of each month! So feel free to check back often!

This character is in SEVERAL episodes throughout the entire first season!
While this character is HEAVILY inspired by the version from classic Doctor Who, they are far from a carbon copy of them. I am looking for a similar voice to the original though, as I’ve always been a fan of that. Be sure to look up clips of them if you’re not familiar with the character!

What I have for this voice is similar to an auctioneer. Can talk fast and has clear diction. But they need to be able to sell high-energy commentary to the listener. One of the larger roles in this episode!
Well, call me a chicken on a unicycle! Looks like we have an unscheduled entry!
(excitedly commentating) And there they go, into the poultry pen! This is tighter than a greased goose at the county fair!
Kids karaoke starts in 10 minutes! Parents, now’s your last chance to pretend you didn’t hear that!

We are casting 5 children voices in this episode, but I'll need you to be able to do an adult version of their voice in a later scene of the episode. PLEASE DO NOT AUDITION IF YOU ARE UNDER 17, THANK YOU!

He’s funny! Look! He’s all wobbly! He reminds me of my grandpa when he’s mad at the TV!
(Same children, as adults) …Is that why you’ve been so distant? Oh no… That was a childhood thing! We were reminiscing from when we were kids!

Average American farmland folk. Specifically in Kansas if you're good enough with dialects! These are just small roles, with only one or two assigned lines each. However! I fully encourage anyone cast in the role to ad lib as much as they like! it can be used in the background in other scenes!
(Needing to use the restroom) Hey, buddy! This one free?
(Put off) Huh. Okay. No need to get weird about it...
(Was just run into) Hey! Watch where you're... Wait... Are you eating hay?

This is the kind of voice you hear yelling over the crowd at large events, usually selling something! This takes place in the farmlands of Kansas, so keep that in mind when recording! Also! I fully encourage anyone to ad lib what they like, as those lines can be used in the background of other scenes!
