Warhammer 40K Fan Story - The Heathen's Intent part 1

Project Overview

Those asking for feedback, I will honor the request.

~*DEADLINE COMING UP SOON!*~

*I am not a gold member but deadline is dependent on when and if I get the voices I need*

*Please read all descriptions and be flexible! scripts will be given in discord/email when selected.*

This story has been sent to a few friends of mine but they are locked into characters so any character available will be posted

Whether you know of the Warhammer 40K or not I suggest you still take a try at this story! I will always have a character available for you, from either minor to lead, please give it your best try and dont be discouraged. I understand the struggle and will always be willing to help others as long as they are willing to listen. This story takes a view on a new organization among the space marines. For reasons of the utmost importance an inquisitor has developed a new organization that is specalized in sending small strike teams where needed. The story starts with squad Maldus just finishing their briefing with planetary governor Falonious and follows them as they discover there is more behind their missions than they were lead to believe.

*Any questions you have please message me here*
-Please leave contact info for future projects and dont hesitate to try out for more than one character. If you are not comfortable with one character then just do your best and try another one! I promise I will always need a voice for something and might contact you for another project that is incomplete. I am new to this site but not new to producing audio dramas. One thing i like to do is keep voices for the same characters if they are featured in multiple stories, so please be able to return for future episodes/parts to any story.

-All I ask is that you have little to no background noise while recording, as best of quality of a mic you can get, be able to record lines at least twice for variety purposes and editing, patience for I get busy from time to time, and that you read every line as typed. I will answer all questions in my discord group which will be given to you upon selection for voicing.

Here are a few examples of my work and I look forward to working with everyone soon:

Role assigned to: MrCharles

Description: (Voices will be edited as they are wearing helmets that use audio amplifiers, unless they have their helmets off)
DRAMMON TIGELIS: Assault Marine (Mostly laid back/Talkative finds the joy but doesnt hesitate to focus on the objective) - The squad’s assault marine, is usually seen plunging into the battle right after TAETHIOS has deemed it appropriate. Usually the second one into a situation, speed and aggression define his warrior style. Held in great regard for arial combat with both the jump pack and the ravens fold (pack that allows hovering). Will rarely hesitate on an action as his word is final when he speaks, but is always willing to listen to others suggestions. Has high respect for TAETHIOS as he sees him as a blood brother due to being recruited on the same planet. Is more willing to invite the chaotic battle and relish in the moment, appreciating the coordination of the squad. He pursues the enemy when TAETHIOS initiates an ambush, preventing any who try to escape the horrific slaughter.

* I ask that you reference the game Dawn of War 1-3 to get an understanding of the speech patterns and accent. I know its a lot to ask but I promise it will make sense once you start to comprehend the personalities portrayed in the Warhammer 40K universe.

  • (Said with eagerness to kill the enemy) Hurry brother! They must feel the Emperor’s blessing!

  • (After being given the order to destroy the enemy) Finally!

*Extra lines - The sounds of combat

Description: (Voices will be edited as they are wearing helmets that use audio amplifiers, unless they have their helmets off)
TAETHIOS ADUS: Scout Marine (Calm/Quiet thinks more before he speaks but isn’t against interjecting) - The squad’s point man in most situations, usually the first one to scout ahead and first one to give suggestions on actions. Considered the fastest out of the squad and is more comfortable with melee, testing his skills with HELBREN periodically. Stealth and violence of action define his warrior style. Has high respect for DRAMMON as they are basically blood brothers, recruited from the same world and nigh inseparable. Holds the idea that thoughts are greater than action as he stays calm in almost every situation. Seems to almost never lose his cool, and always have a known answer to any situation. He causes havoc  while DRAMMON advances, putting great effort in the violence of an ambush to create a potent effect of intensity.

* I ask that you reference the game Dawn of War 1-3 to get an understanding of the speech patterns and accent. I know its a lot to ask but I promise it will make sense once you start to comprehend the personalities portrayed in the Warhammer 40K universe.

  • (Said with slight annoyance) The governor’s idleness has vexed my mind, I wish to be done here and back on the Revenant.

  • (Reporting that the ambush was completed) It is done

  • (Said to Drammon when being told to scout ahead) With me brother, we have much ground to cover

*Extra lines - The sounds of combat

Hold your position (Said to his fellow squad members)

Role assigned to: VirginVergil

Description: (Voices will be edited as they are wearing helmets that use audio amplifiers, unless they have their helmets off)
HELBREN: Apothecary (Serious, tends to shoot down DRAMMONs joy but keeps it in good manner) - The squad’s apothecary, an expert in geno-medical knowledge, HELBREN has seen about any and all injuries known to the imperium. Healing and assassinations define his warrior style, he’s always equipped with enough to aid or kill any living organism. As a veteran of countless battles, HELBREN is fully versed in his role and in rendering aid to his fellow squad members. Although his duties rely heavily on close combat, he is versatile in his equipment selection. New wargear and weapons of smaller design are compatible with his armor, he has a variety of selections from ranged weaponry and geno-medical arsenal. He is usually studying new methods of battlefield medicine and rehearsing melee combat. The others view him as a master in the arts of close combat and are regularly trained by him. He tends to be serious more than the others but doesn’t let a good moment pass often.

  • (Said while helping his fellow squad member up) On your feet, the Emperor will not allow you a simple death.

  • (Said after dealing with the imperial guard senior medic) I have given what aid I can.

(Said after seeing the orks approach) Orks, (grunts in annoyance) let us end this quickly.

(Said to the senior Medic of the imperial guard) My aid may not always be needed, but there will always be death, that I am sure.

Description: (Voices will be edited as they are wearing helmets that use audio amplifiers, unless they have their helmets off)
VULKAAR: Librarian (father figure)- The squad’s librarian, has been proven through the trials set by the Grey Knights and is revered as a master in his field. Psychic destruction and protection define his warrior style, the squad is never caught off guard by the ruinous powers of the warp. His skills are only matched by the other Psykers in the company, he usually is positioned near or next to MALDUS as his skills are highly needed in most situations. If ever the squad is in the face of death VULKAAR is capable of turning the tide of the battle in their favor. When not in battle he is either meditating or Testing his abilities to new heights, also helping the squad train. Devoted to his craft, he is also capable of partially assuming a chaplains role when needed, making him approachable. He takes responsibility of the mental fortitude of his squad and helps cater to their issues.

  • (Said to Taethios seeing he was annoyed with something) Speak your mind Taethios, your thoughts are free.

  • (Said with slight joy) (chuckles) No.. no it was not. Do you agree brothers?

  • (Said while using his psychic abilities to see ahead of the group) Guardsmen outpost, holding its own but in need of aid. The Orks are not in full force, two gun trucks and two squads.

*Extra lines - The sounds of combat

    Charge!

    Eviscerate them!

We do not care for your cries!

They approach. (sensing the enemy is close)

Do as I ask or you will feel my wrath! (Said angrily at an imperial psyker)

Description: (Voices will be edited as they are wearing helmets that use audio amplifiers, unless they have their helmets off)

Maldus is a big role and will require some effort to voice his personality, if you would like more references please ask!
MALDUS: Veteran (stern most the time but does not overdo it, keeps the squad focused) - The squad leader, is stern on his squad but highly respected. Will stay near the middle of his squad at almost all times to keep his command and control in first priority. When tasked with a mission, he never asks questions until after he informs his squad, allowing them to prepare as he receives the rest of the information. Strategy to complete the mission and the welfare of his squad are his first two priorities at all times. Has seen all types of combat from being a file trooper to commanding a company. His actions have been noted on numerous occasions with his triumphs due to his leadership. The squad trust him far beyond the call of duty and show him the utmost respect in all situations. Mirroring his successes, MALDUS has given each squad member plenty of counsel both on and off the battlefield.

  • (Said to Falonious after getting fed up with his demands) (slightly frustrated) In keeping with discipline to my faith in the Emperor (said through gritted teeth) and my chapter, I recommend you recall as to why we are here. You are the planetary governor, not my superior, nor my equal. I will do as (emphasize) commanded as I see fit.. We take our leave.

  • (Said after Vulkaar asks if the conversation with Falonious was annoying) (positive sarcasm) Was it so blatant that I did not hide my intentions, Vulkaar? I was once able to.

  • (Said after the imperial guard lieutenant tried to act as if he did not fear the Orks) I did not question your resolve, only your intelligence. Clearly I have my answer.. knowing this, I will leave half the squad. I will hear no more of your competence. You will hold here until I return, is that understood?

*Extra lines - The sounds of combat

    Charge!

    Kill them all!

    I will end you!

Hold steady, you are men of the imperium.. remember this. (To the imperial guards that are scared)

Once more into battle! (Said to inspire the imperial Guards)

Who among you will stand with me and who among you will die alone? (Giving a speech before battle to the imperial guard)

Keep fighting, show them no fear! (In the middle of battle)

Kill! Every! Last! One! (Said with each swing of his sword)
