WHAT OUR PROJECT IS ABOUT
Wanda and Wilbur is a decision based indie game, living in a world co-existing with toons (cartoons) and humans the audience will follow along two protagonist; Wanda, a young woman living on her own as a learning chef in the making, and Wilbur, a short tempered troublesome toon rabbit. The two together will learn the problem that stands between toons and humans, alongside fighting for the rights of toons, and uncovering secrets from an ancient book that helps lead the two to their victory and learning there is much more to life than hatred towards one another.
This Casting Call is put up for the casting of the LEAD AND SUPPORTING characters, as this game is still in the making more roles will be added later down the line. Roles for animators, video editors, software engineer and programmers will be added opened later in a different casting call. The reason we have opened these roles so early, is to get to know people we will love to cast for these characters. Alongside going over agreements to be apart of the cast of Wanda and Wilbur as this is a episodic indie game. If there are any inquiries, please dm me here. As of now, there are no payments that will be handed out, simply just for fun, as we are a small team we are constantly making changes for everyone to have fun and enjoy working with us!

Wilbur is the titular protagonist, he is a rabbit toon with a Brooklyn accent. He is short tempered, and often on edge. He should like he is from New York, the typical mob boss accent.
[Wilbur is angry at a long time friend who had asked about his whereabouts]
Wilbur: (Angry) "I came to this stupid town lookin' for dough, and all I get is a shoe to the head by an Ireland store owner, And you ask me where I've been?!"
[Laughing at someone who had fallen into a body of water]
*Joyful/ mocking* "AHAHAHA! You shoulda' seen the way you fell in that river! What a laugh! AHAHA! What's the matter? You look mad!"
The Narrator will narrate the story every now and then. He is the story teller of the plot, so it is important to have a voice that captivates the audience, and question who their guide of the story will be, the Narrator's voice will copy that of an early radio host from the early 20s and 30s, very bouncy voice with and seem as if he speaking from a microphone through a radio and to the audience. Though he is never seen on screen and is just a voice as he is the narrator, it is important to give much personality to you narrator, have fun.
[The Narrator is making his introduction and meeting the audience for the first time]
"Well hello there! I see you all decided to tune into our show for today, glad you did!"
"What a joy! What more can you bargain for?"
"And so the four gathered 'round, to think of a plan that could possibly lead to...well victory? We'll never know! tune in next time, and maybe, we'll catch wind of what will be next."
Bandit is a racoon that always has his hands sticky of any sort of gold or object, Bandit is well...a bandit. A thief who enjoys stealing, and scamming people out of their money. He a scruffy sounding guy, yet he has a heart of gold..for money.
*Annoyance/ Anger* "What do ya' want kid? I told you already I want nothin' to do with you or that stupid rabbit!"
*Mischievous* "Well, well, well, look at what we have here...The Goldin' Blum, also known as, that old lady's will stash! Haha!"
*Annoyance* "I've done 'bout had it with you, Lil' miss prettsy', what other plan do you have? since you don't want to snag anythin' off the shelves!"
Though not being from the 'Love City' of Paris. Amour still has love to spare, Amour is a toon mouse, that is often flirtatious and direct, though he isn't the brightest, Amour still cares deeply for the people he surrounds himself with, despite his flirtatious behavior, Amour takes on as the more responsible character in the group, and is often protective of his group of friends. No matter if he's scrawny and dimwitted.
"Ahhh, I see, you are a woman of love, I myself am very much an expert of such kind as well (trails off)...where are you going? Is it my ears? I promise! I am not the squeaking mice you think I am!"
(Sarcasm) "Of course, It would be the only cat in town that runs a gang that would be after you. How unfortunate. Bandit, my friend. What did I tell you about you and your sticky fingers. You have now gotten yourself into trouble!"
(Amour is in a choke hold)
(Choking) "Too much--! Tell her to let go! Now---can't breathe--"
Cassandra is a cat toon, that is the head chairman for a gang she runs, owning the streets, she is sultry woman of knowledge, and quick-witted and very calm. Her voice is smooth, yet her demeanor is dangerous. She is the arch enemy of Wilbur and many enemies in town for men who owe her money.
(Curious) "What an odd...group...(takes a moment to think) Take them away, I don't want to see their faces for the rest of the evening."
"Very well...You have 48 hours to bring me what is mines, if you fail to do so...well, I am very acquainted with the streets Wilbur, just know that I know this isn't the first time you failed to bring something of mines, I've let you get away far too many times."
(Joyful, pride) "Make way boys! Mama's home!"
Cleo is a human affiliated with Cassandra's gang. While not personally apart of it, she is in a relationship with one of the gang's members, Lucky. She's a soft spoken woman, but doesn't shy away from speaking her mind, especially when it pertains to those she cares about. Accent wise, Cleo does have a southern accent
(Reserved) "I do hope you know what you're doing here. This isn't a game, This is lives you're messing with...just..be sure about what you're doing."
(Annoyed) "I know arguing with you is just going in circles here, but c'mon! this is ridiculous!"
(whispering/confused) "She...does know that's...not how you work, right?"
Lucky is a Labrador toon, and the right hand man of Cassandra, though not entirely always siding with Cassandra's actions towards certain groups in town, he is very loyal and can get very protective over his significant other, Cleo. He's very soft-spoken and calm in voice, some more mistaken him for a hipster more than not.
[Lucky spots Wilbur on the streets]
"Oh...Oh hey, Wilbur! y'know, boss was just looking for you...ahaha, yeah, I know I know, I'm just joking, I didn't see you, go on!"
[Sad, sorrowful]
"Cleo...I should've done more sweetheart..(sniff)..."
[Desperate]
"Hey! Wanda, right? am I wrong? Okay listen, I have something I need for you to do, and I know, we got off on the wrong foot last time, I apologize, but you see, I can't find Cleo and it's been over 3 hours, and usually she---...Sorry, didn't mean to speak too fast."
Zot, is the henchman of the villainous 'Man in the Trenchcoat' He and his partner Zip, are shadow toons, summoned from a dark realm, you would think something from a darker realm would be evil, but this shadow toon is fairly lazy and easy to persuade.
[Annoyed]
"You want me to get up and do all that? Why not ask Zip, I'm sure he'll have fun chasin' down folks...or whatever."
"No one asked you Butch, aren't you like the bottom of the food chain? Foxes are so easy to kill."
[Anger]
"You let them get away?! What?! Go get them, jesus, boss is gonna kill me...."
Though being from the 'Shadow Realm', Zip is fairly different from his partner, working as a henchman as well under the 'Man in the Trench Coat'. Zip is obnoxious loud and fairly fast, hint his name. He's quick to act, in the most worst way possible, and often run his mouth more than he should.
"Zot! Let. Me. Tell. You! I was down in town lookin' for those toons and that girl, like boss told me to, and I was wanderin' around and I found this rock that looks exactly like you, haha!"
[Whispering, in fear]
"Zot....Zot...look behind you...I really think you should turn around...."
"AHH--Oh, it's just you....Don't scare me like that!"
Being one of the right hand man, of the 'Man In the Trench Coat', Butch is a fox toon, who is always up to no good, he's very sour and mischievous, and as any other villain, he's very mean and condescending considering his line of authority being the Right Hand Man. But, he's more so like a pimp that got a raise.
[Boasting]
"Oh yeah? Well let me tell you something, I got a job, unlike you! Yeah, that's right, I got a J-A-B--Wait, is that how you spell it...?"
"Move it pipsqueak, big man told me I'm on duty now, considering you and Zot couldn't even go catch that rabbit and that girl [mutters under breath] For gods knows why...Anyway, I'm in charge, you're taking street duty."
[Panic, desperate]
"Hey! I was joking Wanda, was it? Look, get that knife over there, and cut me free, I didn't mean the whole chase thing, really, no harm done, right? Isn't that what humans do? Chase each other? Play tag--god I'm gonna be sick..look! my blood is goin' to my head, help me!"
