[VA / WRITERS WANTED] Fate/Lost Paradise — Original Fate Fan Project

[VA / WRITERS WANTED] Fate/Lost Paradise — Original Fate Fan Project

Project Overview

Ten years after the devastation of the Fuyuki Holy Grail War, an irregular, unrecorded ritual manifests in the sun-drenched, tropical port city of Hokuto, Japan. Seven Magi. Seven Legendary Heroic Spirits. One omnipotent wish-granting vessel.

Behind Hokuto's vibrant palm trees, neon-lit docks, and high-stakes tourism lies a cutthroat battleground. Follow Kenzo Tategami, a young civilian magus thrust into a bloody war of survival, as he fights to protect his city from ruthless foreign magi, ancient grudges, and tragic secrets buried deep within his home—all while uncovering who he truly is.

Fate/Lost Paradise is a dark, character-driven story exploring themes of trauma, obsession, legacy, and human connection set within the Nasuverse.

Role assigned to: Badaoui

Known to his city as the "Prince of Hokuto," Kenzo is the quintessential model student and star athlete. However, his flawless reputation is a psychological shield built to cope with the childhood trauma of his father’s disappearance. Driven by a compulsive, absolute refusal to ever break a promise, Kenzo pushes himself to the brink of burnout to ensure he never fails anyone. Beneath his student persona lies a prodigy Magus with terrifying hyper-cognition—a human mirror capable of adapting to and replicating combat styles on the fly. He treats everyone with polite kindness, but only his childhood friend, Maya, can break through his emotional armor and make him show his genuine, relaxed self.

In terms of his tone of voice, Kenzo is polite, composed, and warm on the surface, but carries an underlying weight of exhaustion, intense focus, and fierce determination during combat.

  • *Addressing a classmate at school with a warm, dependable, but slightly tired smile.* Don't worry about the event preparation, I've already handled the schedule with the faculty. A promise is a promise, after all... I told you I'd see this through to the end, and I intend to keep my word.

  • *Speaking quietly to Maya late at night when the pressure of his trauma and secret duty finally cracks his composed armor.* I can't afford to slow down, Maya. If I fail—if I let my guard down for even a second—everything falls apart. Everyone is counting on me, and I... I refuse to be like him. I won't turn my back and leave.

  • *In the heat of battle against a rival Master. His hyper-cognition kicks in as he analyzes and replicates their combat technique* Your footwork, your stance, the flow of mana through your circuits... I’ve seen it once, and that's all I need. Reinforcement, set! Let's see if your pride can hold up when your own style is turned against you!

Role assigned to: Quinn Dry

On the surface, Maya is the epitome of a vibrant, prank-loving high schooler who delights in teasing her childhood best friend, Kenzo. Beneath her sunny exterior, however, lies a highly trained Spellcaster shaped by both Tategami Rune Magecraft and the brutal martial discipline of the Holy Church’s Executioners. Lacking "prodigy" talent, Maya built her skills through sheer, relentless work ethic. She views magic pragmatically—wielding her deadly Black Keys with clinical efficiency. Driven by a deep love for her adoptive mother, Maya enters the Hokuto Holy Grail War for a purely selfless reason: to grant her mother the happiness she was denied.

For her tone of voice, Maya is upbeat, playful, and energetic on the surface, with a sharp, teasing wit, shifting to a grounded, lethal, and clinical focus in battle.

  • *Grabbing her bicycle and challenging Kenzo to a race on their way to school, trying to break through his serious mood* Hey! Earth to Prince Charming! Last one to the school gates has to buy the winner lunch for a week—and no using reinforcement on your pedals, Kenzo! That's officially cheating!

  • *Speaking softly late at night, revealing to her ally why she is actually risking her life in the Holy Grail War* I know I'm not some genius magus. I had to bleed for every single spell I learned. But my mom gave up her whole life to raise me when she had nothing... So if the Grail really can grant a wish, I don't care about reaching the Root. I just want to give her back the happiness she lost.

  • *In combat against an enemy magus. Her playful demeanor completely vanishes as she draws her Black Keys with lethal precision* Save the grand speeches about your family's grand lineage. To the Church, you're just a threat to be purged—and to me, you're standing in my way!

Role assigned to: Pippy va

As Student Council President of Higurashi Academy, Riley is the dignified, dependable classmate and the emotional anchor for Kenzo and Maya. Unlike arrogant Clock Tower elites, Riley belongs to a modest lineage of blacksmith Magi who view magecraft as an honorable trade rather than a path to social status. He values work ethic, integrity, and responsibility above all else. Beneath his polite and grounding exterior, however, sits a hardened, pragmatic survival instinct: as a child, he coldly executed his own treasonous father to protect his family's legacy. In battle, Riley is a confident, deadly strategist who makes swift, lethal decisions without a single second of hesitation.

In terms of his tone of voice, Riley is calm, authoritative, and smooth, carrying natural leadership and warmth, but capable of shifting into cold, sharp, and decisive intensity.

  • *Stepping between Kenzo and Maya during one of their frantic arguments at school, acting as the smooth, composed classmate* Alright, you two, take a breath. Kenzo, if you keep running your circuits at maximum capacity, you'll collapse before finals even start. And Maya... try not to incite a minor riot in the hallway before the morning bell. As your Student Council President, I have to account for the paperwork.

  • *Addressing an arrogant rival Magus from the Clock Tower who looks down on minor bloodlines* Magecraft isn't a trophy to flex for social prestige or buy your way into the Clock Tower elite. It's a craft. A tool forged through generations of sweat, blood, and quiet discipline. If you can't respect the work behind it, then your grand lineage isn't worth the parchment it's written on.

  • *Facing one of the Masters in the Holy Grail War who assumes Riley will hesitate to kill* You think I'll show mercy because we wear the same school uniform? I executed my own father when he threatened my family's legacy. You're just another obstacle in my way. Stand down, or I'll end this before you can finish your next chant.

Role assigned to: Badaoui

On the surface, Jason is a serene, highly observant young man with a polite demeanor and a natural, protective "older brother" aura. Beneath this composed exterior, however, lies a profound resentment toward the Clock Tower. As a half-homunculus, Jason possesses elite-tier magical circuits (mastering Jewel Magecraft, Astromancy, and Curses), yet the magus world views him as a sub-human "tool." Driven by a fiercely protective love for his homunculus siblings, Jason enters the Holy Grail War for a single, deeply personal wish: to rewrite their biology, strip away their artificial traits, and grant them normal, full human lives.

For his tone of voice, Jason has a serene, polite, and deeply reassuring tone, carrying a gentle "older brother" warmth that masks an underlying, fierce intensity and quiet resentment.

  • *Speaking softly to one of his younger siblings, offering a reassuring smile to calm their fears* You don't need to worry about the future anymore. I know how heavy this burden feels, but as long as I'm breathing, I won't let anyone treat you like a disposable tool. Just rest... I'll take care of everything.

  • *Confronting an elitist Clock Tower magus who looks down on homunculi as artificial property* To you, bloodline purity is everything, isn't it? You see us as nothing more than temporary batteries and laboratory assets. But artificial blood or not, we bleed, we feel, and we survive. And tonight, I'm going to show you what this 'disposable asset' is truly capable of.

  • *Activating his Jewel Magecraft and Astromancy in the heat of battle against a rival Master* I have no interest in your titles or your pride, magus. My wish is worth more than my life, and I won't let you stand in the way of my family's future!

Role assigned to: Boneless

A social outcast at Higurashi Academy, Yoru is cold, abrasive, and deeply misanthropic. Having grown up completely isolated from the magus world, he views humanity as an irredeemable failure and holds zero value for human life—including his own. To him, optimism is a delusion, and the Holy Grail War is merely a grotesque circus where "pigs fight over scraps." Dragged into the war as an accidental civilian Master, Yoru doesn't care about magical reach or glory. Driven by pure, unfiltered nihilism, his wish is to tear down society's hypocritical structures and expose the fundamental ugliness of human nature.

For his tone of voice, Yoru has a sullen, cynical, and deadpan delivery, carrying a heavy, rasping exhaustion that can snap into sharp, biting malice or cold contempt.

Language:

Voice description:

  • *Dismissing a classmate who tries to reach out to him or offer help in the school hallway* Save the inspirational speech. You play the smiling, helpful classmate because it makes you feel good about yourself, not because you actually care. So do us both a favor and walk away. I'm tired of watching the performance.

  • *Speaking to his Servant about his view on the Holy Grail War and human nature* Look at them out there—fighting, betraying, killing... all for a cup that promises to grant their pathetic little desires. Humanity hasn't changed in thousands of years. We're just pigs wallowing in the mud, wearing nice clothes to hide the filth underneath.

  • *In the middle of a life-or-death battle, staring down an opponent with complete disregard for his own or their survival* You think pointing a blade at me changes anything? I don't care about my life, and I certainly don't care about yours. Go ahead—bleed for your grand ideals. I’m just here to watch your little fantasy burn to the ground.

Role assigned to: Mikhail S

Haruto presents himself as a warm, approachable, and refined gentleman when offering quiet guidance to Kenzo. Beneath this polite facade, however, lies a 25-year-old Clock Tower magus who has been thoroughly hollowed out by cutthroat magus politics. He holds no personal malice toward anyone, but his capacity for genuine empathy has completely burned out, leaving him with a numb, weary apathy. In battle, Haruto treats the Holy Grail War like a cold mathematical equation—specializing in lethal Alchemy, Curses, and covert pragmatism to secure victory without wasting motion.

For his tone of voice, Haruto is soft-spoken, polite, and refined, carrying the warm charm of a dependable family friend that conceals a hollow, weary, and bone-deep emotional exhaustion.

  • *Speaking to Kenzo with gentle, polite concern ahead of the impending war, projecting the charm of a dependable older mentor* You don't need to carry the weight of your father's legacy all by yourself, Kenzo. The Tategami family has already given enough to this war. If you ever need guidance, or simply someone to listen, you know where to find me.

  • *Speaking privately to his Assassin Servant, dropping his polite mask to reveal the bone-deep apathy underneath* Do you know what the Clock Tower teaches you? That ideals are just expensive luxuries for people who haven't had to bleed for a seat at the table. I don't hate these kids... I'm just far too tired to let sentiment ruin a perfectly calculated plan.

  • *Activating his alchemical traps and curses against an enemy Master, treating a lethal engagement like a simple math equation* You made a mistake assuming I'd engage you on your terms. The vaporized catalyst was set twenty minutes ago... every breath you take now only accelerates the decay of your circuits. Let's bring this to a quiet end.

Role assigned to: mia

To everyone around her, Kokoa appears as a shy, fragile, and soft-spoken girl with a tragic past. In reality, this meek exterior masks an unhinged, dangerous yandere whose entire sanity is anchored to an obsessive fixation on Kenzo Tategami. Orphaned by her family's cursed, tragic bloodline, Kenzo's brief childhood kindness became her entire reason to exist. Kokoa views any female near Kenzo as an "impurity" that must be purged. Utilizing lethal Alchemy, paralytics, and high-tech Homunculi surveillance, she eliminates or imprisons rivals with cold, clinical precision—using the Holy Grail War as the ultimate tool to isolate and possess him forever.

For her tone of voice, Kokoa has a soft, sweet, and breathy voice with a timid, delicate cadence—seamlessly twisting into a unhinged dark intensity.

  • *Speaking to Maya at school, acting timid, helpless, and deeply grateful for their presence* Oh... I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to startle you. You're always so kind to someone like me... I don't know what I would do if I didn't have you and Kenzo looking out for me.

  • *Speaking softly to herself, her sweet voice taking on an unhealthy, romantic fixation* You don't have to carry the world on your shoulders anymore, Kenzo. I'll take care of everything. I'll build a safe place where no one can ever hurt you, or touch you, or take you away from me again...

  • *Confronting a paralyzed "rival" bound inside an abandoned warehouse, stepping forward with a scalpel* Do you know why you're paralyzed? It's a paralytic concoction—it keeps your heart beating, but stops you from making a sound. You sat too close to him today. You laughed at his jokes. You're an impurity in his world... and I have to keep Kenzo clean.
