Project Overview
An Investigator finds a storage unit full of recordings and files pertaining to something called 22 • The Arcana Project. Upon delving into the contents, the mysteries of this game and its contestants continue to unravel. Who are these participants, and what does the supposed Gamemaster gain from this?
This will be done in an audio drama format, with our main character being The Investigator as she goes through the recordings and files she's received. There is heavy inspiration from games likes Identity V, Danganronpa, and Your Turn To Die, as well as the podcast The Magnus Archives.
This project will contain discussions of violence, murder, stalking, and intense psychological backstories and moments. Because of this, the decision has been made to age-restrict The Investigator and a future character as 18+ roles. Other roles may be subject to this restriction, but as of now, that is to be determined.
Regarding auditions, auditions are first and foremost open for The Investigator and The Gamemaster, then later, auditions for the remaining roles will open. Callbacks may become a possibility, but it may be difficult, as this project will be cross-posted on Discord. Everyone will be kept up to date on things. If you are chosen for callbacks, you MUST join the Discord for the process.

Voice Actor
This role is age-restricted due to content within the audio drama. Please only audition if you are legally 18 or older. When auditioning, please include your AGE and your DISCORD USERNAME.
The Investigator is our main character and narrator for 22 • The Arcana Project. The Investigator is an AFAB Cisgender character who is 28 years old.
Right now, we're focusing on finding a Voice Actor for her before we open auditions for the other roles, as we'd love to make a concept teaser to showcase more about this project. The script is complete for this concept teaser, so if any callbacks were to take place for this role, this script would most likely be what is used for the material. Not all material for this initial audition is official lines; they may just be used to hear range.
The Investigator is a very stoic individual, especially when it comes to her work, rarely letting her emotions come into play, even when, for most, it would be difficult with the cases she's working on. And she’s always been like this. There is no sad backstory that molded her into the distant person she is; she’s just always been mature and quiet, and while many can find her detachment a bit unnerving, it helps in her line of work.
She’s not 100% emotionless. She still experiences every feeling a human is capable of; part of it is that she has just become desensitized to the work she does. She's still able to feel empathetic towards her clients. Usually, she comes out of her shell when she’s with her family and close friends.

The Gamemaster is a major role for 22 • The Arcana Project. The Gamemaster is an AFAB Cisgender character who is 31 years old.
The Gamemaster is a very prideful individual. We learn very quickly in this project that she is a planner and maps out every detail. She's intentional with what she does. Of course, ultimately there's an underlying obsession with having her work recognized and acknowledged. She wants to be seen and noticed.
Despite being such a planner, she's quick to make assumptions and rarely budges in her opinions, making her appear very strong-headed to others. She wants to be right, to make the decisions. Control is ultimately what she hopes to obtain and show in her work. Of course, disappoint can already make a scary individual even more terrifying.
