Role went to: Badaoui

Known to his city as the "Prince of Hokuto," Kenzo is the quintessential model student and star athlete. However, his flawless reputation is a psychological shield built to cope with the childhood trauma of his father’s disappearance. Driven by a compulsive, absolute refusal to ever break a promise, Kenzo pushes himself to the brink of burnout to ensure he never fails anyone. Beneath his student persona lies a prodigy Magus with terrifying hyper-cognition—a human mirror capable of adapting to and replicating combat styles on the fly. He treats everyone with polite kindness, but only his childhood friend, Maya, can break through his emotional armor and make him show his genuine, relaxed self.

In terms of his tone of voice, Kenzo is polite, composed, and warm on the surface, but carries an underlying weight of exhaustion, intense focus, and fierce determination during combat.

The sides they read from:

  • *Addressing a classmate at school with a warm, dependable, but slightly tired smile.* Don't worry about the event preparation, I've already handled the schedule with the faculty. A promise is a promise, after all... I told you I'd see this through to the end, and I intend to keep my word.

  • *Speaking quietly to Maya late at night when the pressure of his trauma and secret duty finally cracks his composed armor.* I can't afford to slow down, Maya. If I fail—if I let my guard down for even a second—everything falls apart. Everyone is counting on me, and I... I refuse to be like him. I won't turn my back and leave.

  • *In the heat of battle against a rival Master. His hyper-cognition kicks in as he analyzes and replicates their combat technique* Your footwork, your stance, the flow of mana through your circuits... I’ve seen it once, and that's all I need. Reinforcement, set! Let's see if your pride can hold up when your own style is turned against you!
