Untitled Indie Game
Project Overview
This is a casting call for my indie game. More accurately my indie idea. I don't really have much in the way of an actual game and I'm really just trying to world build at the moment. As part of that I'd like to put some voices to the characters in my head and really flesh them out well.
The general overview: Zack Olman, loving father and successful business man has a seemingly fatal accident and awakes alone on an operating table. No living person is to be found and Zack wakes H.E.R.M.A.N to help him find his way out. However Zack is unable to recall anything about his life, not even his name. With no doctor available and seemingly no way out Zack must undergo the re-imaging process before he is allowed to leave the G&N patient care center.
This is an unpaid, and not a "guaranteed to exist" project. I've got no idea if I'll ever have the time to see this idea through, but you've got to start somewhere.
When auditioning feel free to add any other lines you feel fit well into the character. Though I have a rough idea how I'd like characters to act I'm early enough in the development process that nothing is set in stone.
Voice Actor
The main character in the game, Zack is a middle aged man who has just awoken in a strange office. He is tired, plagued by headaches, and generally just wants to see his wife and kids then go home.

(Wakes dramatically from sleep and worried) *Gasp* Where am I?! (Pause to look around) Hello? Is there a doctor or anyone I can speak to? Where am I?
(Exasperated to H.E.R.M.A.N) Look I just want to see my wife, or a doctor, or just a real person please.
(With false confidence) Of course I remember my name. (Pause to consider) It's uh. Well I know it's not Brian.
Voice Actor
Patient care is very important to G&N, that's why they've left you in the very capable hands of your very own H.E.R.M.A.N. Your H.E.R.M.A.N is trained in proper bedside manner and is happy to answer any questions you might have after waking up from the "Live the Dream" procedure. Your H.E.R.M.A.N will also run you through re-imaging to ensure that your mind and body are still properly functioning. (Though a robot, you do not need to modify your voice in anyway. If you do I just ask you include the raw audio as well.)

(Cheerfully) Good morning Brian. Welcome to the G&N patient care center. We’d love to hear about your experience with G&Ns new: “Live the Dream” experience *patent pending*. Waking up from the “Live the Dream” experience *patent pending* can be disorienting. Please take a complementary but unpaid second to reorient yourself.
(Cheerfully) One of the current known side effects of the “Live the Dream” experience is slight amnesia, it’s okay you don’t remember your name! If you don’t remember any aspects of your normal life after 5 years please contact G&Ns department of re-imaging at *static*. If you don’t remember how to breathe, taking a deep breath in should fix the problem.
(Cheerfully) Uh-oh, I seem to be missing my wake-up procedure instructions, and the current date does not align with your set wake date Brian. Starting "early wake-up protocol".
Voice Actor
The wife of the playable character. Kind and warmhearted, the unnamed Mrs. Olman loves her husband. Mrs. Olman is only ever heard in the memories of the main character.

(Absentmindedly while in an adjacent room) How did the investor meeting go today? (Pause for response) I'm sorry to hear that, I'm sure someone will be interested in your technology.
(Hysterically on the phone) Hello? Medical please, oh my god my husband fell down our staircase. His head is bleeding please send somebody!
Voice Actor
Co-Founder and CEO of G&N, Robert Greene has taken control over G&Ns business operations after the disappearance of his business partner. Robert is an older gentleman who really doesn't understand many of the products that G&N sells, as long as it makes him money he's happy.

(With contempt and mild annoyance) You signed the contract. I'm not the one who decided they needed to "do the right thing" by testing the product.
(Coldly and with finality) Either go back to your other life like you always do, or take your stipend and leave.
Voice Actor
Young adult or teen employed by G&N. Character is unsure of themself and spacey.

(Riffling through papers to answer question) I can't let out out until you fill out the questionnaire sorry.
(Reading from a document) Uh, should you choose to leave you'll be paid the standard rate of $5 per time you underwent the "Live the Dream" Experience. (Pause while other character interrupts) Um, I'm not really supposed to tell you how many times you've decided to go back.
