Good news!
The cast for the project is complete.
Thanks again to everyone who submitted an audition - they were all wonderful.
To those who weren't selected this time, I sincerely hope to see your submissions again in the future.
There is still at least one more character planned for this project, and I have several other projects in mind.
I'm increasing the payment for Heike Suhren's role from $20 to $30.
Yes, instead of paying for CCC's shiny badge. :)
Native English is NOT required. In fact, I'd actually prefer a touch of German mannerism/accent - just please, no cartoon German villain!
If you were considering auditioning before, now might be a good time.
Please, don't make me ask Sabine Hossenfelder instead.
I've received several amazing auditions for this role, each wonderful in its own unique way.
Unfortunately, being a hobby project, I don't have the time to maintain an ever-growing collection of beautiful voices. It's already hard enough to choose between the ones I've received, and I don't want anyone else spending their precious time auditioning when I already have several performers I'm seriously considering.
Thank you again to everyone who submitted an audition. I genuinely appreciate the time and effort you put into bringing Sammy to life!

You **do** remember falling? Good. Preservation of short-term memory immediately preceding the trauma is also consistent with a relatively mild injury.
Do you think you can walk? You can. [mumbling] ...Unfortunate.
You may notice some villagers have... unusual customs. And also some resident's appearance may show deviations... [abrupt stop] They may look different.
Voice Actor
Challenging character role — playful/annoying, teasing, threatening, vulnerable, crying, intimate
Wide emotional range required — including rapid mood swings
Quirky idiolect — unusual vocabulary, grammar and deliberately archaic/odd speech patterns; consistency matters
Close-mic / ASMR-style performance — whispers, proximity, breathing, laughter, and intimate delivery
An unstoppable fox demon with a fluffy inside.
~1,000 words
[sudden proximity, whispering] That, mind you... is negotiable. [pulls away, laughs] Hahaha! Oh, the look upon your face!
...What? No, my ears did not just move. Yours did! What d'you mean, they moved again? Can't a girl move her ears? How they move is none of thy business! Hey, hey! No touching! I bite.
[softly] It makes me remember. Faces... Laughter... [voice breaks] Hands... They said they'd never leave me... [start crying] But then they did... Again... And again... And again...
Voice Actor
Has literally this one line.
Male or female senior voice.
Please sound concerned.
Is someone there? Sammy, is that you dear?
