(the plot rundown for those who haven't heard of Overlord)
In the year 2126, a Dive Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game or DMMORPG called Yggdrasil was released. It stands out among all other DMMORPGs due to its unusually high ability for the player to interact with the game. After an intense 12-year run the game servers are about to be shut down. Within the game exists a guild, Ainz Ooal Gown, once consisting of 41 members and credited as one of the strongest guilds in the game. Now only 4 of the members remain, He invites the remaining guild members but of those only one appears and only for a short while before leaving. While saddened by this, he accepts the reality that his friends have their other lives (both lives are real) to take care of and decides to stay logged in until the servers shut down.
When the shut-down time arrives however, Momonga finds that the game hasn't vanished. Instead it appears as if Yggdrasil has been recreated as its own reality along with its various NPCs having been brought to life while Momonga has been trapped in the form of his game avatar,With no other option, Momonga sets out to learn if anyone from the real world is also in this new world with him. Taking on the name of Ainz Ooal Gown, a message to any other players, Momonga begins exploring the world in an attempt to figure out what has happened while searching for anyone or anything that could help him solve this mystery, while ensuring the safety of Nazarick.
this unofficial audiobook series aims to bring the light novel version of Overlord to life with different voices for each character, and a narrator to describe all the brutal details of this series. it will be uploaded to both youtube and soundcloud. if the first volume goes well there will be audiobooks and audtitions of the other volumes. **REQUIREMENTS** 1.) You have to have either read the light novel or watch the anime (each season is only 13 episodes long so it shouldn't be too much of an issue) that way you have a basic idea on the story and the characters. 2.) Have a good microphone, an audiobook isn't good if the quality of the microphone is crappy. 3.) Have fun
The Guardian of the First, Second, and Third floors of Nazarick. She takes on the form of a beautiful vampire girl. She is set to be somewhat of a pervert, causing her to fall for Ainz and putting her at odds with Albedo. her voice should sound archaic and formal. but when she is mad, speak with venom in your voice.
[light chuckle] am I the first to arrive?
[slyly] It must be pretty tough for you, having to deal with a weirdo sister like that. You’d best leave her soon, lest you become a weirdo like her.
[angry] Shut up, shorty! It’s not like you have anything of your own! At least I… no, I’ve got a lot more to show off!
Yuri Alpha is the vice-captain of the "Pleiades" the battle maid squad of the Great Tomb of Nazarick She was created by Yamiko, one of the three female members of The guild Ainz Ooal Gown. she has a tone of intelligence that can sometimes be heard in the way she speaks. she usually keeps a calm and composed manner when speaking to Ainz, and her sisters.

[curious] “Lord Ainz, may I ask why these treasures have not been tidied up? Even if there are protective spells in effect, this is hardly an ideal storage method. You have but to command us and we will immediately begin tidying—”

CZ2I28 Delta is an automaton battle maid and member of the "Pleiades Six Stars," the battle maid squad of the Great Tomb of Nazarick. With her being an Automaton she doesn't show much in the way of emotions, she'll almost always speak in a flat and emotionless tone of voice, much like that of a robot. even if she did try to show emotions it would still sound very robotic in how it is said.
Since she has few lines in volume 1, the other two lines in this casting call are from volume 3 and pure pure pleiades.

Entoma Vasilissa Zeta is an arachnid battle maid and member of the pleiades" Six Stars," the battle maid squad of the Great Tomb Of Nazarick. She also disguises her voice with that of a cute girl by using a leech that steals the voices of her human victims after killing them. Her original voice is harsh and grating, similar to that of Cocytus.

when speaking with her first voice (line one and two) try to sound cutesy and innocent. However with her true voice try to make it sound harsh and grating, you can use a voice effect to achieve the grating effect, or you can simply just have the effect-less version.
“Understood, my lord!”
[talking about food] "While the fat of women's meat makes it tender and children's meat tastes good despite having less fat, eating the meat of a muscular man is best when trying to lose weight."

Lupusregina Beta is a werewolf battle maid and member of the "Pleiades Six Stars," the battle maid squad of the Great Tomb of Nazarick. Lupusregina Beta has a very bright and outgoing personality but is able to act accordingly like a perfect lady. She is sociable and friendly towards humans though it is only a mask to conceal her brutal and cunning personality. She also enjoys making lewd jokes to people like Enri.

Her voice should sound friendly and bubbly when talking to her allies, but when she talks to her enemies, she should sound threatening and ready to cause torment.
“Understood, my lord!”

[joking tone of voice] Are you in love with me? Ahhhhh, how troubling~ my, how shocking, to think that miss Enri is a lesbian~hehe. Looks like I need to let everyone know~hehe."

Solution Epsilon is a slime battle maid and member of the "Pleiades Six Stars," the battle maid squad of the Great Tomb of Nazarick. Solution thinks of humans as food and toys. She loves to swallow humans alive and enjoys the suffering and struggling of her victims. She is also good at disguising her nature, acting like a childish and rude lady when she was out to get information with Sebas. It seems that her true nature is quite logical, suggested by her complaint about inefficient behaviors of Sebas or Entoma.

Her voice should be calm and collected when she talks to her allies, though when she is being sadistic, she should sound giddy and eager to cause pain and suffering.

[acting childish and rude] “What kind of food is this?! It tastes horrible! Ahhhh! I can’t bear to stay in this run-down city any further! We’re setting out now!”
[dismissive] “Oh, something about ‘I can’t wait to have fun with her’, so since these chances are hard to come by..." [sadistic tone of voice] "I intend to have fun with him as well.”
this role will have the most amount of lines in this project, seeing as how you will be reading what is happening in a scene. i wouldlike to have both a male and female narrator, one for the Ainz scenes, and another for the Enri scenes.
Facing the young girl and her little sister, the armoured knight raised his sword.
To have mercy was to take away a life in a single strike. Struck by the sunlight, the sword glistened high up in the air.
The girl shut her eyes and bit down on her lower lip. Her expression showed that she never wished for this situation. She was simply accepting it since there was nothing she could do. If the girl had power of some sort, she would have used it on the man before her eyes and ran away.
It was the year 2138 A.D., and the term DMMO-RPG was not only in existence, but also becoming more common.
Being the acronym for <Dive Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game>, it described an interactive game where one was able to play in a virtual world like it was real life, by connecting a dedicated console to the neuron nanointerface— an intracerebral nanocomputer network composed from the quintessence of cyber- and nanotechnology. It was as though you entered the game for real.
No matter which DMMO-RPG it was compared to, Yggdrasil was a game that offered an immensely high level of freedom to the players.
The number of classes that formed the basis of the game easily topped 2000 when you added up the normal and high-rank classes.
The protagonist/main character and the only remaining member of the Guild of Ainz Ooal Gown. Originally he was a simple salaryman playing a VR online game, but after he was transported to the New World, he decides to make himself a legend in hopes of finding his old guildmates. To facilitate his search, he changes his name from Momonga to Ainz Ooal Gown.
when talking to others, such as an ally or an enemy his voice should be deep, commanding, and make sure you can show off a wide range of emotions.
when he is talking to himself he should sound hardly confident of himself, but he shouldn't sound like a total wimp.

Albedo is the overseer of all the floor guardians. after having her personality being re-written before the shutdown she has become madly in love with Ainz. she is a succubus and as such her voice should be seductive during certain scenes with Ainz, but stern and commanding when speaking to the other guardians, and be sure that when the moment calls for it, you are able to convey rage.
[apologetic] ...Please forgive my inability to answer the Supreme One’s questions about this ‘GM Call’. I apologize for not meeting your expectations. Nothing would please me more than a chance to make up for my prior mistake. Please, command me as you see fit
[aroused] Will I have my first time here? May I ask how you wish to dispose of my clothes? Would it be better if I disrobed myself? Or would you like to unwrap me, Momonga-sama? One of the Guardians of the Sixth floor of Nazarick, alongside her twin brother Mare. She takes on the form of a young Dark Elf who cross-dresses as a boy. She is also very energetic and extroverted, in contrast with her brother. Despite constantly bickering, she is very close to Shalltear, unintentionally mimicking the relationship between their creators.
When reading her lines your voice should sound slightly cocky when you speak, and when she is yelling at Mare she should sound flustered.
[Excited] Welcome, Momonga-sama. Welcome to the level I guard!
[yelling] The Supreme Being Ainz-sama has come to visit us, but you as a Floor Guardian aren’t even here to meet him! You should know how disrespectful that is! If you’re too scared to jump down, maybe a quick kick will substitute for courage!
[energetic] I’m positively overflowing with energy… [light sigh] although it’s been a bit boring recently. It would be nice if we had an intruder or two.
One of the Guardians of the Sixth floor of Nazarick alongside his twin sister Aura. He takes on the form of a young Dark Elf who cross-dresses as a girl. He is also rather shy and calm in comparison to his sister, causing him to be constantly ordered around by her.

The Guardian of the Fifth floor of Nazarick. He takes on the form of a huge, four-armed, humanoid insect with the power of cryokinesis. He also possesses multiple swords, spears, halberts and other kinds of armaments. He has a warrior personality, which makes him very noble and respects anyone with a strong fighting spirit. He is in charge of the security of Nazarick.
he should sound powerful and noble when speaking.

[proud] I Came Immediately Upon Receiving Your Summons Momonga-sama.

The Guardian of the seventh floor of Nazarick as well as the one in charge of its defenses. He takes on the form of a demon dressed in a business suit with glasses and a tail. He is among the most intelligent and evil NPCs of Nazarick, willing to commit unspeakable atrocities to further his goals.

Momonga-sama, there are two more people who have not yet arrived
The Guardian of the 7th Floor, Demiurge, presents himself to the Master.
One of the Pleiades. She is a Doppelganger. However, because all her levels went into her combat abilities, she is permanently in human form. Instead, she is the strongest of the Pleiades, being a magic caster that specializes in lightning spells. She serves as Ainz' companion while under his "Momon" identity, going by the alias Nabe. However, she despises and looks down on humans, which often causes trouble for him.
when voicing her, she should sound calm, but she is able to switch to an aggressive, shy, or nervous tone of voice at a moments notice.
[Calm] The guards are ready for you.
[somewhat panicked] Pl-please wait and reconsider, if something happens to Momonga-sama, we must become your shields! We cannot allow any harm to come to your person.
[Calm and reassured] Understood. Then, please be safe, Momonga-sama.
The head butler of Nazarick and overseer of the Pleiades. Despite not being a Floor Guardian, his abilities rival theirs, specializing in unarmed combat. He takes on the form of an elderly gentleman with a neat beard. Unlike the other NPCs, he doesn't hate outsiders and actually has a strong sense of justice, like his creator.
The one responsible for assembling all the Supreme Beings. In addition, the merciful leader who did not abandon us, but stayed by our side until the very end.
What are you saying? Staying by your side and obeying your orders is the reason for a butler’s existence, Momonga-sama. There is no need to thank or apologize to me… although, it is true that this process took quite some time. Momonga-sama, would you like to take a break?

The captain of the Sunlight Scripture. He is highly arrogant and self-righteous, having led many secret genocides against innocent non-humans. He and his Scripture were hired by some corrupt nobles from the Re-Estize to assassinate Gazef Stronoff.

[disappointed]...They fled. [sigh] Well, that’s only to be expected. We will continue attacking villages to draw him out. The beast must be lured into the trap.

The Head Warrior of the Re-Estize Kingdom, Gazef Stronof is among the strongest men within the kingdom, he is sent to Carne village to prevent any further attacks from what is assumed to be bandits.
he should have a gruff sounding voice but when in a conversation he should sound calm, and be sure you can shout!
You must be the chief of this village. Can you tell me who is the person beside you?
I am the Warrior-Captain of the Re-Estize Kingdom, Gazef Stronoff. By order of the King, I have been visiting each of the frontier villages to exterminate knights from enemy countries who have been making trouble here.

That’s right, we’ve always been specialized in extermination, after all.
I mean, this is a strange mission. Usually, we would have backup from the Windflower Scripture for something as important as this.
But, but the Kingdom is foolish too.

Random villager: [solemn] Chief, I’m sorry to interrupt you when you’re talking to our guests, but they’re ready for the burial…
