Unhappy Endings || Gacha Club Short Series
Project Overview
Welcome to Unhappy Endings CCC!
Warning: This series will contain violence, suicide, and homicide. This is not recommended for younger audiences.
Project details:
- Unhappy Endings is a short series produced using Gacha Club. (3 episodes)
- The deadline for auditions will be November 7th.
- Upon receiving scripts, voice actors will have two weeks to submit lines.
What is Unhappy Endings about?
This series will contain three short episodes, each being a different story/genre (VAs who are in EP1 may not be in EP2 unless they voice an extra).
I don't want to give away too much, but these won't have your average fairytale conclusions.
Here is a short summary of each episode:

Episode 1 - Knight in Shining Armor: Ida has been trapped in a tower guarded by a witch all her life. One day, Mary arrives and befriends her. Their friendship blossoms into something more, and they plan to escape with each other. -
Episode 2 - Unknown Rivals: Bloodfire is a supervillain who wants to rid the world of corrupt people who only want control and power. His rival, Lightning Storm, is always standing in his way and prevents him from taking over. He begins to have a soft spot for her, and the two become more than rivals. -
Episode 3 - Friend From the Stars: Thomas and Kate are a poor family just trying to get by. One day, a UFO crashes right in their backyard with an alien, Ophelia, inside. The two take her in and they accept her as part of the family.
Rules:
1. You must be 13+.
2. Please only audition with a good quality microphone.
3. Speak clearly and show emotion in your lines.
4. Please do 2-3 takes of each line.
5. You MUST have Discord, as this is how I will be contacting people. Please state your Discord username and tag in the description of your audition.

⎢Please do not send me friend requests on Discord only for you to tell me that you auditioned, you plan on audition, or asking to audition (don't ask, just submit if you want to). I leave friend requests on for directors who want me to VA for them. I'm sure you're all wonderful people, but the amount I've been getting specifically about UE has been a bit overwhelming. 😅 ⎢I will be friending the final cast and working with them on Discord. Mary is energetic and chivalrous, she always wants to help people. She is very ambitious and will always stand her ground against a threat. While on an adventure, she stumbles upon a tower guarded by a witch and meets the princess inside. She befriends the princess, unafraid of the witch who could kill them both.

(Making a new friend, cheerfully.)
"I'm Mary, of the Emeraldleaf Kingdom! What's your name?"
(Not understanding what her friend is feeling at first, then upon realizing, she is very flustered.)
"What else could I- Oh-! W-well, I mean I probably could love you in that way, you're amazing and beautiful and-!"
(Shocked at first, then infuriated.)
"Victoria-! YOU SICK MONSTER! How could you?!"

Victoria is the antagonist of episode 1.
Victoria is a witch, holding a princess captive in a tower. She is cruel, stern, and does not care if she has to hurt anyone who stands in her way. She will do whatever it takes for power.
Ida is pronounced "eye-dah'
Voice Range: Medium (Please do not make her sound like the Wicked Witch of the West. That isn't what I'm looking for, she's more of a stern parent if anything.)
(Annoyed, sternly)
"Ida, would you get away from that window? You'll fall right out of it!"
(Matter-of-factly, almost business-like)
"Anyway, I'll be going on a trip for a few months. Please behave while I'm gone. I'll be needing some samples of your DNA before I go."
(Infuriated [not yelling, but extremely intense])
"I thought you knew that there would be no going outside, Ida..."

Tony is a supervillain who wants to rid the world of cruel and controlling people, like his parents. When he is Bloodfire, he is confident and feels unstoppable. But while he's just Tony, he's shy and quiet.
Voice Range: Medium, medium-low (When he is Bloodfire, his voice should be lower and stronger than as his normal self)
(Cocky, confident)
"Listen, gorgeous. The world is already crumbling. We're the ones who have been gifted with these powers, we may as well use them to put it back together."
(Brushing someone off, almost shyly)
"No, don't worry about me. My eye hasn't even started to swell yet, I can make it home."

"Because look at it! Look at its problems! Look at the people living here! They aren't like us. They're weak but power-hungry. They are people who harm others for power! Hurting people, to get what they want! Don't you see?! We can fix it. We can fix the world together."

Richard is Tony's father. He cares more about business than his own family and wants Tony to take over his company one day. He rarely shows any emotion besides frustration towards his son. He speaks very bluntly and doesn't sugarcoat anything.

(Not looking up from his laptop, very bluntly)
"You'll have to go to a fitting for a suit sometime this week. We're also going to commission custom masks."
(Frustrated with his son's work, angry)

(Half-ignoring his wife, bluntly speaking)

Kate is a single mother, who is very hard-working and does her best to provide for her son. She is kind and caring to everyone she meets (with the exception of Officer Gedeon). The only thing she wants is for her son to be happy and to live peacefully with him.

(Trying to converse with her son, who isn't very social)
"So, how was your day at school, Thomas? Did anything interesting happen?"
"Nothing-? Nothing interesting at all? Surely there's *something* that caught your attention!"

"But... what will she eat? We barely have enough food for ourselves, I would hate for her to be hungry while she stays with us..."
(Serious, determined)
"They'll be back soon. When that happens, you both need to run through the woods, far away from here. I'll hold them off..." [She pauses and looks at the kids] "...We'll be okay."
