Typing hearts is an upcoming dating-sim game for PC, Mac and Linux in which you combine your typing skills with your ability to chat with girls. It features a unique fast-paced typing game and an immersive operating system to showcase your story where every choice counts.
Find the girl of your dreams, choose the right topic, and type your way into her heart.
Ready, set, type!
The game is really a mix between narrative/dating games (HuniePop, Emily is away, DokiDoki) and typing ones (Typing of the dead, Ztype, Epistory etc...)
It will divide into two main phases:
First one being the narrative one. It's taking place in a Virtual OS where the player can use different apps to progress in the story (Messenger to talk with the girls via webcams, Lifebook to access their social network profiles, photos etc...).
The second one is the actual gameplay, after each conversation the player can ask the girl for a date it will then switch to the location of the date.
There is a narrative intro and them player have to choose the good words to type, and do it as fast as possible to emulate the conversation.
Everything is auto-financed for now. The goal is to finalize a solid vertical slice demo to be able to launch our Kickstarter to finance the rest of the content.
The project is doing really great and we are now at a point where we are looking for voice acting for our upcoming demo =).

For the demo we need full voice-acting for the whole onboarding sequence. It's very similar to the first encounter between AI/MainCharacter in the movie Her.
The goal is to have a very natural sounding voice, warm and friendly. Actually the tone/expressions in Her is a very good reference for what we are trying to achieve : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GV01B5kVsC0
Her personality is hard to describe since it will adapt to the player. Indeed during the onboarding sequence, player will have to answer a personality quizz (conducted by the AI). Depending of his choices the AI will have different personality and a different name as well. But mostly let's say she is here to accompany the player in his quest for love. She is created by the VirtualOS developer and her role is be sure the MC find the good person for him.
Without more spoil, let's just say that her role will be critical for the whole game experience and might even evolve a lot with story progression =).

Elodie (surname : Ella)
She is an exchange student from France, and she know only few people in the city of the MainCharacter (mainly people from university).
As french she sometimes makes mistakes in English when talking, or mispronounces some words.
Personality:
She is exhausted, stressed, and addicted to coffee. She's in final exam hell and juggling several projects at once. She appreciates any tips you have that help her stay awake. She makes frequent jokes about suicide idealization and likes if you play along to an extent. She probably has depression. You must reassure her that it's okay to take some time for her mental health, but you must not patronize or scold her.

She is a Korean-American. Programmer at a startup company [Stack Digital Services] the Flame(Tinder-like) app developer.
She is not using the VirtualOS for dating but only out of testing purposes... She will accidentally meet the MainCharacter and he might be able to chat more with her if he choose the right words to make her stay...
She is reserved/serious/calm. Very educated she talks well. She works in a man environment and know how doesn't let herself be stepped on.

Pearl De Ruth
She is passionate by art and would love to live from her passion. For now she is Teacher-Assistant in an art class.
She wants to see the MC naked so she can have anatomy reference for her art.
She's on the Flame app (tinder-like) looking for a muse, and talks like a dramatic tortured artist.
She's always holed up in her studio, so she hasn't gotten around to meeting a lot of people.
She's the most eccentric of the love interests, and likes if you spout philosophical metaphors or say bizarre things (she views it as creative).
She will oftenly express herself in roleplay sequences where she can incarnate a character, in one of her fantasy situation.
She is one of the only LoveInterests that have no problems at all talking about sex from the beginning.
