Kat and Witchita attempt to go trick or treating on Halloween night, but find themselves repeatedly rejected for being "too old".
Trick or Treat is a very short (2-3 minute) animation that will be uploaded for free on YouTube (and I may attempt to enter it into a couple short film/animated festivals or competitions!)
I'm making this short to expand both my skill and my portfolio. It will be my first fully animated project ever! Because of this I'm casting before final animation has begun, but the storyboard is complete.
To audition you MUST:
Be 16 years or older
Have a relatively high quality mic with little to no background noise
Have Discord and be willing to (potentially) join a groupchat/call with other VAs
Have PayPal or CashApp in order to receive payment (this does not apply to the "additional voices" role)
I also will NOT work with anyone who is pro-AI or anti-LGBTQ+ in any way.
Please record 2-3 takes per line for the audition, and include your Discord username in the description of your audition.

Kat is an excitable, aggressive, and somewhat childish cat girl with an intense love for candy. She is very head strong, passionate, and loud. An actor MUST be able to yell and be loud for this role, both excitedly and angrily. Her voice leans more towards androgynous than feminine.
(Angry) WE ARE THE KIDS, DUMBASS!
(Upset) MY INNER CHILD!! When I was a kid, I promised myself that one day I would eat candy for breakfast, lunch, AND dinner!
(Excited) LOTS of it! Giant piles of the stuff!
Witchita is a sweet, shy, and gentle witch girl who just wants to have a fun night out with Kat. She's soft spoken and generally far more subdued when compared to Kat, but shares her proclivity for chaos and randomness. She has a more high-pitched and sweet/gentle voice.
A transfeminine actress is preferred (but not required) for this role!
(Sad) Since when did fun have an age limit?
(Excited) I like to get into character, so I learned how to do witchcraft!
(Comedically optimistic) …I'm sure this won't have any dire consequences down the line!
Imp is a tired demon just trying to do his job. He should have a tired, mostly monotone, aloof kind of voice. But you can also lean into the more nerdy look of his design if you choose. Both high-pitched, nerdy voices or deeper, more serious voices are welcome.
