Transportation Station - Episode 5 (CLOSED)
Project Overview
About the project:
Hello! I am looking for an actor to voice a new secondary character on my original cartoon series, "Transportation Station". Her name is Ichika Papdopoulos and she will be making her debut in Episode 5 of the series. Episodes 1-3 are already available on the Hooting Pictures YouTube channel, and Episode 4 will be releasing at the end of August 2022! I will link all the previously released episodes for reference as to what to expect in Episode 5, and also to get to know the other characters in the show!
Ichika will be a secondary character and as such, will not appear in every episode. But I hope to give her more appearances throughout the series!
This episode will be the series' Halloween special! Complete with a spooky mystery and costumes.
As stated before, Episode 4's release is set for the end of August, but I hope to begin production on Episode 5 a few weeks before. This is when I will send out the script to record! Once the episode is in production, I will give regular updates in the Hooting Pictures Discord server on how the progress is going! I always make sure to keep every actor in the know!
Once this casting call is closed, the actor should expect to receive their lines within the next 7-10 days. The turnaround time is one month. Sooner rather than later is always appreciated, but we here at Hooting Pictures are compassionate and understanding people, so please feel free to reach out at any time with any concerns you may have during the designated time frame! :)
What you will need:
- A Discord account! Please leave it in your audition description.
- A good microphone and a quiet place with no background noise to record in.
- Acting skills! We want to bring life to this character!
- A cooperative attitude and dedication to the project!

Ichika is the 14-year-old daughter of Bernard and Shigeko. She is a practical, level-headed kid who gets along with people of all ages. But she still knows how to have fun and enjoy the everyday things that your typical teenager would. Much like her mother, she partakes in many different hobbies about town such as cooking, skateboarding, gymnastics, and much more. She attends a local private school so she is often seen in her school uniform, however, this episode is set during Halloween, so she is dressed up as a cheerleader!
Her character is new, so I am open to any accent or interpretation! But if you feel like referencing either of her parents, her father speaks with a thick Scottish accent, whereas her Tokyo native mother speaks with a slight Japanese accent. But Ichika was born and raised in the Underworld city of Duplicity where almost everyone speaks with a North Eastern American accent. So there's lots of dialects to choose from!
(sounding like an eerie ghost on this line) Daaad…? Daaaaaaad…??
Have either of you seen my dad? He told me to meet him here so we could go trick or treating.
I have no idea what’s going on. I better just go home. Maybe Mom knows where everybody is.
