Project Overview
Six heroes are gathered together in order to protect the world, whether it's from mad scientists or vengeful beasts. However, in order for them to be true heroes, they must first look within, and work through the complicated, messy feelings they have... and sometimes, they come out in more ways than one.
Sonic: ChaosBound is a Sonic animatic project, which will feature voice acting, and custom made animatics made to convey the story, or at least Arc 1 of it, for now. If you're a fan of the Sonic franchise, then I think you'll be right at home here, and I've got lots of characters in need of voice actors, 29 to be exact! There are also roles for Project Coordinators, Animatic Artists, Scriptwriters, and Sound Editors, in order to bring things to life. I am the Creative Lead, so I get a final say in whatever happens, but the rest will be up to everyone else to help make this project shine! Happy auditioning!
This is a project that's very dear to me, but unfortunately has been unable to be done justice, time and time again. But now, I feel as if I'm confident that things will work out, since now I'll have others to help things along! I hope you can join me on this journey!

I’m looking for, ideally, three project coordinators for this project. Experience managing creative or volunteer teams is strongly preferred, and you should be comfortable using task tracking tools such as Google Sheets, Trello, or Discord.
Coordinators will be responsible for organizing work between the volunteers, tracking progress, and maintaining clear communication across the team. They will not be responsible for final creative decisions, which remain up to me, the Project Lead.

The role involves creating timed visual sequences based on scripts or scene outlines, focusing mainly on pacing, composition, and storytelling. This is not full animation, this is primarily for storytelling through storyboard-style visuals synced to audio.
Experience with animatics, storyboarding, or visual editing is required. You should be comfortable working with tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Storyboard Pro, Clip Studio Paint, or similar software.
Your responsibilities include turning scripts or scene directions into visual sequences, syncing visuals with dialogue and/or music, maintaining consistent pacing and tone with the project, and revising work based on feedback when needed.
Please include examples of previous animatics, storyboards, or similar time based visual work. This can be personal, fan-made, or professional.

I'm optimally looking for three scriptwriters for this project. The role involves writing scripts that include both dialogue and clear visual direction (scene actions, tone, pacing cues, etc). You'll break scenes into distinct beats/shots that the animatic artists can easily follow
Above all, I want people that have experience writing for scripts, screenplays, animatics, comics, or similar visual formats. I want them to have a strong understanding of pacing, scene structure, and dialogue flow, along with the ability to write in a way that is easy to visualize and storyboard, in addition to willingness to revise and adjust the scripts based on production needs
You should be comfortable working with tools such as Final Draft, Celtx, WriterDuet, Google Docs, or similar tools. You should have familiarity with scriptwriting formats (screenplay style, shot lists, or storyboard-friendly scripts), along with the ability to organize scripts clearly, with labeled scenes, actions, and dialogue.
Please include examples of previous writing (scripts, screenplays, comics, or animatic work preferred). If possible, please share samples that show visual storytelling, not just prose or short stories. Optionally, please also indicate what sorts of projects you've worked on in the past, and if they've reached completion or not. Whether they're complete or not will not be the defining factor, but it's just good to know of it.

I’m looking for optimally 2 sound designers/audio editors who can add clean, well-timed sound to animatic sequences, and help bring scenes to life without being overwhelming.
This role involves placing and syncing sound effects (such as movement, ambience, and impacts), balancing audio levels so dialogue remains clear, and helping to shape the overall atmosphere of each scene. You should have experience with audio editing or sound design (fan projects, personal work, or similar is fine) and a strong sense of timing, especially when matching sounds to visual cues.
Familiarity with tools such as Audacity, Reaper, Adobe Audition, or similar audio software is preferred, along with basic knowledge of working with layered audio and exporting clean mixes.
When applying, please include examples of previous work. This can be sound design, edited scenes, or any project that demonstrates timing and audio layering on your part, along with a brief note on what software you use. Good sound design should enhance the scene naturally, and not distract from it.

Sonic is a free sprit, always on the run. In this project, Jet is his closest friend, although the two like to banter a lot, but it's never mean spirited. Sonic is the leader of the group, and owns the Blue Chaos Emerald of Leadership.
For Sonic's tone, I would like a tone that harkens back to his Ryan Drummond portrayal, but anything loosely based on it works as well. Please use a high quality microphone, and please be serious about the role if you decide to audition.

Jet is cocky, stubborn, and very full of himself, but he does have a heart, and will fight like hell to keep his teammates safe. He's second-in-command and owns the Green Chaos Emerald of Loyalty.
For Jet's tone, I'm looking for something that harkens back to Lars' voice from Steven Universe OR Michael Yurchak, the current voice actor for Jet. Something that isn't normally squawky, but when given the right push or nudge, can absolutely squawk like hell. Tails is a bit on the geeky side, and tends to say things that nobody can completely understand. Nonetheless, Tails is a valuable asset to the group. Tails is the genius of the group, and owns the Yellow Emerald of Proficiency.
For Tails' voice, I was thinking of something harkening back to Kate Higgins or Colleen O' Shaughnessey's tones of voice, since I resonate with those tones the most. Please use a high quality mic if possible, and please be serious about the role if you wish to audition.

Knuckles is usually stoic. but when he's passionate about something, he won't stop until he sees things through, which can be both a good and bad thing. He's the powerhouse of the team, and owns the Red Emerald of Strength.

Once an unwilling ally for Eggman, Xiao is now with the group, trying his best to make amends for all he's done. He tends to try to act wise, in order to hide his cowardice. He is the weapons expert of the group, and owns the Purple Emerald of Ingenuity.
For Xiao's voice, I'm looking for something raspy and regal, but also something that hides a hint of cowardice in the tone. Please use a high quality mic if possible, and please be serious about the role if you decide to audition.

Shadow's technical ancestor. Not much is known about him, other than him trying (and failing) to keep the team at a distance during his time alive. Eventually, the walls came crashing down, and unfortunately, it wasn't only Itom that paid the price.

He has an IQ of 300 and he isn't afraid to flaunt his ingenuity to anyone he meets. Despite all this, he seems to have some kind of positive reception with the general public...
