I’m Bennetta, and I welcome to you my podcast, “Tomorrow Refuses To Come.”
In short, this story is a dark humored drama about two teens running away to kill themselves after completing their bucket list. But after a series of events occur while they’re crossing off things to do before they die, they are left to contemplate their mission.
The leads of this podcast are Andie and Felix
I’ll start with Andie.
At her core, she’s a very empty and shallow person. She will admit to that. But she doesn’t understand why or how she came to be that way— and it frustrates her. She wants to understand the way the world works and something vital is always missing.
Felix, on the other hand, is someone who is constantly overwhelmed by his emotions. He finds himself in mostly avoidable situations, leading to tragedy brought by no one other than himself. He can’t live with the person he’s become.
Eventually, the two meet after Andie’s mother, a psychologist, takes him on as a patient. Growing inseparable from the moment they meet, they decide to die together after completing a bucket list.
And that begins our story.
What continues our plot is the intertwining of fates, the inevitable and growth. Andie brings out the best in Felix, and as it turns out, he does the same. The two slowly begin to cross off the bucket list, but there is no rush to die. All they have is time— and at some point, that tomorrow when they’d promised to die, refuses to come.
