Project Overview

JUST LIKE THE STIMULATIONS - AN FNV PROJECT


WHAT IS THIS PROJECT?
J.L.T.S. is a project that aims to bring virtual stimulations into the world of Fallout: New Vegas. This project adds 10+ various scenarios that are meant to be dynamic and replayable. It has new weapons, armors, characters, and much more.

MY ROLE IN THIS
I have been working on this project (Alongside many others) for the past few months. This is a passion project of mine that I've put my sweat and tears into. Many hours of scripting, writing, playtesting, and redrafting was put into this project. The main goal of this project was replayability and immersion, so I want to give the player a great experience when playing this mod.

WHAT IS YOUR ROLE IN THIS?

I am looking for 10+ actors who are willing to bring the cast of Deathsong Brotherhood to life. The cast is wide and varied, and will need a strong cast of voice actors to deliver the lines.

I am not super picky about microphone quality, but would prefer if the mic being used is at least around the range of a Blue Yeti.

PAYMENT
 Payments will be sent in full on the very day you're cast for a role. I would strongly prefer using Paypal as a means of transaction, but if otherwise, we can discuss alternate ways of payments. If you prefer being paid afterwards, we can arrange that as well. 



INSTRUCTIONS

If you are cast for a role, you will receive a script through Gmail or CCC DMs with recording instructions, deadline, accent specifications, character bios, and line directions. If you want to discuss alternate ways of communication, we can do that through CCC DMs.

For all characters, I expect lines to be sent back following the correct organization.

You should be recording through an audio recording software like Audacity or Adobe Audition. You should export and submit your audition as a .wav audio file with the settings of 44.1 kHz, 16 bits, and mono recording format.

I will open more roles over time. If you are not cast for a role, don't be discouraged to audition for another one. If you're already cast for a role and want to audition for another one - you can do so.

  • Clearing the Dust

    Hello everyone. It has come to my attention that there has been rumors that I am Dracomies, another CCC member. It's apparently because we have similar formatting and ways of handling projects. I can see now that our formatting is similar and that it would come off as suspicious and shady to some. I would just like to state that I am NOT Dracomies. I am an entirely different person on CCC. There is no big, grand scheme going on. It is just a misunderstanding. If you check my auditions for other projects on CCC, you would see that we're clearly different. I have no malicious intent, and I'm sure Dracomies doesn't have any, either. I'm just here to get my footing into voice direction and work with you actors. However, the fact that the NCR fields a substantial army all equipped with firearms has given the NCR the edge in numerous wars. Unfortunately, the Mojave Campaign pitted the NCR against a determined foe: Caesar's Legion. Though the bulk of Caesar's warriors were forced to do battle with crude blades against NCR riflemen, their superior conditioning, fearlessness, and greater numbers have forced the NCR into defensive positions.

The Republic has been hard pressed to deploy enough troops to the Mojave, where the sheer size of the territory requires a great number of personnel to properly secure it. To make matters worse, the NCR's most experienced soldiers are being killed daily, leaving naught but recruits rushed out of training into battle. "The Brotherhood of Steel is a quasi-religious technological organization operating across the ruins of post-war North America, with its roots stemming from the United States Armed Forces and the government-sponsored scientific community from before the Great War.

Brotherhood soldiers are responsible for collecting technology across North America and enforcing the will of the Brotherhood. Soldiers who display exceptional loyalty and valor are promoted up the ranks, gaining more formidable gear along the way.

Skilled veteran soldiers, trained to be proficient with firearms, as well as hand-to-hand combat, some may have genius-level intellect as well as knowledge on vast and ancient technology, while donning their Power Armor, they are granted a bonus resistance against radiation, Superhuman Physical Characteristics, and Flight (with a Jetpack)."

TONE:
Baritone. The Brotherhood is a group of elite soldiers who are more knowledgable about tactics and are generally more articulate. They're pretty stoic in nature, and don't let their emotions get the best of them in urgent situations.

PERSONALITY & BACKGROUND:
Sergius Orata is a Frumentarius for the Legion. He and several other Frumentarii were sent by their superiors to "replace" the former owners of a munitions store.

Background on Frumentarii:
"Frumentarii (singular Frumentarius), are spies of Caesar's Legion living in the Mojave Wasteland in 2281.

The eyes and ears of Caesar, his intelligence officers are tasked not only with infiltrating enemy society, but also carry out his campaigns of terror. They operate separately from the main Legion forces and are hand picked by Caesar himself. In 2281, their commander is Vulpes Inculta, the fourth-most powerful man in the Legion."

AGE:
30-40 years old.

ACCENT: Would highly prefer a Black American accent, but will take a regular North American accent if it fits his character.

TONE:
Baritone. The character should sound physically imposing but cunning and intelligent. Manipulative. Cold eyes. Intelligent. A spy. Physically imposing. Moves through the shadows. But doesn't sound like a typical "skinny thief." Voice is always condescending. Treats others as if they are lesser than him. Arrogant. Cunning. Think of how Roman soldiers are portrayed in media. Now remove his British accent and do an arrogant, and cold version of his lines.

Background on Frumentarii:
"Frumentarii (singular Frumentarius), are spies of Caesar's Legion living in the Mojave Wasteland in 2281.

The eyes and ears of Caesar, his intelligence officers are tasked not only with infiltrating enemy society, but also carry out his campaigns of terror. They operate separately from the main Legion forces and are hand picked by Caesar himself. In 2281, their commander is Vulpes Inculta, the fourth-most powerful man in the Legion."

Centurions are the highest ranking officers of Caesar's Legion in the Mojave Wasteland in 2281. They work as the main commanders of the Legion army.  Centurions are the most skilled and experienced members of the Legion's military; a legionary must personally serve in many campaigns and kill numerous opponents before they can qualify to become a centurion. "
