Project Overview

The Starlight Odyssey is inspired by a Warrior Cat fan game on Scratch created by a user named Wildflight! This will be a 3D episodic series (not entirely sure how many episodes we will have in total at the moment since the script is still being finished up) created in blender. Since this is episodic, I'll need ya to stick around! This is going to be a project that will not earn a single dime (due to possible copywrite infringements) BUT pending it does well, it should be a great way to get our names out there AND when I being production of my original movie (possibly TV show) on Youtube, you'll all have the opportunity to act in that and have a possibility of getting paid for your work as well (pending everything goes well).

Now, the story follows a young kit who's been abandoned on Crestclan's boarder by her mother. The clan is skeptical to take her in, but, after a vote, she's allowed to stay and train to become a warrior. However, tensions are high in the four clans that roam these lands as Smokestar, leader of Veilclan, is noticing Crestclan's starvation. It's only a matter of time before Smokestar makes everyone follow her vision to break away from the Warrior Code that their ancestors created in order to stop the clans from falling apart. Despite her being a touch crazy, she's not the only one the clans need to worry about as Crestclan's leader, Cranestar, will never even think about breaking the code. So much to the point where his own clan will all starve to death if changes aren't made...

Now for the RUUUULES!

  1. You're welcome to apply for multiple parts. You're not guaranteed to get all your parts, BUT doesn't hurt to try, right?

  2. Absolutely no one under the age of 13+, this is because there will be a discord server for this project to keep everything nice and organized and discord requires you to be at least 13 years of age to sign up.

  3. Discord is a must as this will be our main way of communicating and organizing as well as recording for this project. Please have discord! It's free to sign up! Just make sure you check it regularly or else you will be removed.

  4. Don't be afraid to ask me any questions! I will never call you stupid or dumb for asking a question, I will answer them all!

  5. You must follow what each of the rules require in order to be considered.

  6. The Discord will be given to you when you're accepted

  7. And lastly, if accepted, you will need to follow the rules of the discord server which will be a bit different than the ones listed here. Thanks!

As of 1/29/26, we are almost done with the full script, the first three episodes are recorded and ready for animation.

    Hello my friends! To those who applied for a position or are simply along for the ride, I have some announcements!

    Modeling has begun!

    On Instagram, I just posted a picture of the first model for Blakefeather and she's looking... well a little rough at the moment but she's almost ready for texturing!!

    For people who have auditioned:

    You guys are in for a treat because I'm going to start closing the parts!!! EEE! This is so I can make sure we get auditions for ALL 37 characters (and I've already picked a few in my mind from the second I heard your voice). So prepare to get an answer TODAY!

    If you're rejected, accepted, or maybe you got one of the parts, but not others, not to worry! You're always welcome to keep applying (as if you get rejected, sometimes it's because I simply have a lot of people who auditioned and I liked one in particular). While I can't promise you'll get another part, your chances are pretty high since (from the people I've heard so far), all of you could fit in a good chunk of these roles and I'd LOVE to keep you if you're willing!

    Anyways, once accepted, you'll get access to the beautiful discord server I made like half a month ago (I'm so prepared) and we can get to it!

The main character of the show. Founded by a Crestclan patrol, Blakekit was welcome to join the clan after the clan voted for her to be allowed to stay and train as a warrior. She later is found out to be part of a prophecy that will change all four clans forever.

The main protagonist to the series! Blakefeather is warrior of Crestclan and she's very spirited and a great leader. She carries wisdom beyond her years and is part of a prophacy and has Wild Cat blood in her veins. She gets a mate later in the show, Silvermoon, and is also best friends with Sunspirit.


You're more than welcome to also apply for her younger self (Blakepaw/Blakekit), all you need is to be able to sound younger than you do now. You doing both would be fantastic but not required! It's possible that you will only get one of the roles you audition for, but that's ok.

The mighty leader of Crestclan. Cranestar has always followed the Warrior Code, no matter the cost, and see's strength where others might not see it. He tends to follow the Warrior Code a bit excessively and has to go into a full on war to be able to understand that the Warrior Code should not be his only focus. However, he's a great leader and respected by his clan and is truly a great fit for the clan.


I always pictured him having a deeper voice, but if you don't have a deeper voice, not to worry!

Dawnfrost stars out as an apprentice during the first episode, but since it's only the first episode, you can voice both of them the same. Anyways, Dawnfrost is a warrior of Crestclan and befriends Blakefeather relatively early on. She can be slick along with her brother, Umberdusk, and the two often avoid doing their duties and tasks. However, she and her brother both, love Crestclan and would fight for it in a heartbeat.

Gingerpaw is a member of Crestclan. He's mischievous and likes to avoid doing his training, which ends up costing his life when he runs into an Eagle. Despite Blakefeather and Hollysong's attempt to save him, it was already too late. In the game, it turns out he actually survived and has been in hiding and joins the rouges/loners and never returns to Crestclan. Since his only purpose for coming back in the game is to give you another quest, I've debated just leaving him as dead. this could change though. 


Since he's only a freshly new apprentice when he dies, just keep the same child like voice through it all.

Since Roseblight is a bigger part and she doesn't become a warrior until after Blakefeather does, I'm splitting the two up. This character is a member of Crestclan. She marches to the beat of her own drum and is relatively apathetic towards others, like her mother, Sabblefoot. But, she's still a great cat and trains hard to be the warrior she eventually becomes and fights hard along side Blakefeather during the Blood Moon battle.


Honestly, I don't think she talks as a kit very much so no need for a child voice. Just a younger adult voice will do.

After Cranestar refuses to break the Warrior Code to go hunt elsewhere, Shadowpool flees to Veilclan where she leaves Umberdusk for Cloudflower. The two she-cats end up adopting kits at the end of the series and they're happy with their new and old family.

When Cranestar has yet again made comments of Smokestar breaking the warrior code, Smokestar has finally had enough. She eventually wages war but in the end, thanks to Blakefeather, the two are able to make a compromise.

I'm in need of 3D animators for my tv show. While I won't be able to promise you will get paid (for this project at least), I do want to repay you if the project does well AND I'd love to keep you around for future projects that will hopefully be able to pay my cast and crew.


You will be animating and rendering in Unreal Engine. Experience wise, I don't care how long you've been doing it. If you can prove to me that you will do a good job, you're in. You will be animating cat models that I've already taken care of and you'll be animating alone side me. Lip syncing will be taken care of by me. I just need the body to be animated. It needs to look as life like as possible. Your computer must also be able to handle the files. 


If I accept you, I will be giving access to a test model and I will instruct you to test it out in unreal engine and animate a short scene with this character to be sure you can run it. You can then move on to the next phase with three characters in a scene and it runs ok, I will then be able to assign you scenes that have more than one character.


Depending on how many animators I have, the work will be assigned to you by scene(s). Once your assignment is done, I will then assign you another. You will be able to start immediately. You will be given a story board and will have some creative freedom (your ideas must go through me, but you're encouraged to speak your mind and give me creative ideas I might not have thought about).


Communication will be through a discord server and so if you wish to join my team for other projects, you'll be allowed in that server as well for access to future movies and projects I have lined up and ready to be produced.


I'm a team of one at the moment on the production side and it would speed up the process A TON if I had extra help. I understand you'd be doing it for free and if I had the money, I'd pay you right now, but this is a great project for anyone trying to get experience and a portfolio for themselves and I beleive it'll really help you in the long run. And if you wish to stay with me, I have A LOT of work lined up for the very far future so you will not be without work if you wish to stay with me, but that can be a discussion for later. If you have any questions, my discord is katieoffical. Just tell me you're asking about the project and I will answer as soon as I'm able.
