Leader of Veilclan, Smokestar is the main antagonist of the story. Smokestar believes that the warrior code should not be a law but simply a guide and she's willing to take anyone down who doesn't agree with her vision. When Cranestar has yet again made comments of Smokestar breaking the warrior code, Smokestar has finally had enough. She eventually wages war but in the end, thanks to Blakefeather, the two are able to make a compromise.
