The (sort of) Lost Village Abridged
Project Overview
Hello fellow voice actors and actresses,
I am going to be abridging episodes of the anime Mayoiga (The
Lost Village) and am looking for some talented voice actors and actresses to
fill certain roles that I haven’t found suitable fillers for. Before
auditioning, please read over the guidelines I’ve written below.
Guidelines:
- - Be able to turn lines in at a proper time. I do
not like being kept waiting months for lines because it holds up the project.
- - Do not be afraid to yell. I use many yelling
lines in my projects so it is crucial that you are able to be loud.
- - Use a proper mic. By this I mean I am looking
for good quality mics with no background static, background noise, or mic
puffs.
- - I’m more accustomed to live directing voice actors/actresses
through their lines so be open to being live directed as well.
- - Don’t be afraid to have fun with your lines.

Nyanta is a 15-year-old student with a love for heavy weapons and a desire to shoot anything that moves. She has a friendly personality but can get serious in dangerous situations
Her voice should be high pitched and playful.

Huh…wow…I’m almost impressed with how that turned out.

Maimai is a 17-year-old student who confessed to the guy she liked but was totally rejected by him. She comes off stubborn and independent but can be nice to her friends.
Her voice should be medium pitched.
[Flatly] Why are we friends…?
I-It’s not like I’m into him or anything!...STOP LOOKING AT
ME LIKE THAT![Annoyed] Oh I know
you did not just go there.
Lion is a 14 year old student who claims to have the ability to perceive spirits and has a strong ability to sense the supernatural, and can see things that others can't. She is a pretty serious person but is not taking seriously by the others because they see her as cute.
Her voice should be between high to medium pitched.
[serious] This village is cursed. We should leave before it’s
too late.But I…but you…come on, man.
[Annoyed] Listen to me! We don’t have much
time left!
Valkana is a 25 year old programmer under a cloud of suspicion after there was a data breach at the company for which he worked as a contractor. He seems to be a bit ill-tempered and is easily angered especially when someone that isn't himself tries to take charge.
His voice should be low pitched.
[Angry] Don’t just stand there! Do something!
[Suspicious] Yeah, sure, I know where to put
him…I’m
starting to really regret coming here.
Pi-tan is a 21-year-old college student who joined the tour to be together with Manbe for eternity. She is very dramatic and would do whatever she had to for Manbe.
Her voice should be in the medium to high range.
[Dramatically
sad] MY LOVE! WHY MUST THEY KEEP US APART LIKE THIS?![Worried] Will he really be okay?

for my outburst the other day, I just can’t help myself around pumpkin bear.
Puuko is a 16-year-old student who is a dreamer with a tendency to fall in love easily. She joined the tour to find a dreamy older man. She is very friendly and upbeat.
Her voice should be high to medium pitched.
[Happy] Don’t worry! You can only die once, right?
Does my hair look alright? I didn’t hurt my face on the fall
so I think it’s still an eight at best.[Angry] Your waifu is
trash!
Driver is the bus driver who takes the tour group to Nanakimura . He is 48-years-old. He is stubborn and obviously does not want to be there with the rest of the group.
His voice should be low pitched and a bit rough.
Huh?
Oh, you’re one of those kids from the bus.[Angry] You ruined my life, you little punks!
[Serious] Something’s going on here and I don’t intend
to stick around long enough to find out what it is.
Hyouketsu no Judgness is 15 years-old and enjoys justice. He can be pretty dramatic as he tries to play the hero.
His voice should be between medium and low pitched.
[Commanding/heroic]
HALT, YOU VILLIAN![Nervous] O-Okay I take it back! You win! You win!
Are you siding with the enemy?!
Yottsun is excessively confident and dreams of making it big as a rapper.
His voice should be in the medium range.
[Angry] Aye yo man,
that’s messed up![Flirty] Hey there,
pretty mama. How you doin’?Forget this! I’m out of here!
Naana dreams of becoming a singer-songwriter and continues to sing to her own accompaniment on the road. In the parody, she would also like to become a rapper, preferably one better than Yottsun.
Her voice should be medium to high pitched.
[Smug] Heh, these
fools don’t know what’s coming for ‘em.[Insulted] Excuse me, bro?! You better step up
cause you about to get kicked in the knee!Yo
yo yo, come oooon maaaan, we’re bros! You can’t kill a bro!
Dahara is the sponsor of the tour to Nanakimura and is staying with the other 29 individuals as they all start a new life. He seems to be in love with Koharun. He seems like a relatively normal guy that is just trying to get by as the leader of the tour group.
His voice should be medium pitched.
[Announcing/happy] Alright, everyone, gather round! Let’s
head out to Nanaki village![Confused] You know I
don’t really remember every saying that. Huh.U-Uh hold on, everyone. Let’s not panic here.
Dozaemon is a 27-year-old NEET who has a good personality, but is bad at everything.
His voice should be medium pitched.
[Uncomfortable] Um,
is it too late to leave?Haha! Wow, we’d be totally doomed if something bad happened
here, right?[nervous]
That’s not a real body, right?
Yuuna is a 22-year-old feminist who is kind to weak people. She is very strict and doesn’t seem to get along well with most of the group.
Her voice should be medium pitched.
[Annoyed] What did
you just say, you maggot?Don’t look at me! It disgusts me!
[Moved]
That’s…beautiful! Where did such words come from?
Yuuno is a 19-year-old part-time worker who is a class rep-type with a strong sense of justice and a sensitivity to smoke. She seems pretty close to Yuune and is very cheerful.
Her voice should be high to medium pitched.
[Overly excited] This
village is amazing! Don’t you think so too, Yuune?![Nervous] No way! This can’t be true!
Has
anyone seen Yuune? Are you there, Yuune? YUUNE?!
Soy Latte is a 29-year-old nurse who is generally good person and became a nurse because of a desire to help others.
Her voice should be medium pitched.
[Worried] Is
everything alright over here?I don’t know if that counts as “justice”.
[Shocked]
Oh my goodness! What have you done?!
Toshi Boy is a 16-year-old student who has both average looks and personality, and just wants to fit into a group.
His voice should be medium pitched and casual.
[Calm] So yeah I’m
Toshi Boy….sup…(clears throat)Uh, but weren’t there two of you before?
[Nervous]
