The rebellion is an animated pilot (hopefully a series in the future!) which follows the adventures of a somewhat new Rock band "The Rebellion". The character of whom the main focus is on, the protagonist, is Marie Milford (Lead vocalist), a 24 year old housecat. The band was founded by Isabella "Belle" Rainsong (keyboard player), a 27 year old Californian white rabbit, Lilith Huntsman (Bassist), a 25 year old Doberman, and Tom Owens (Drummer), a 26 year old grey wolf. Arthur Trotter (Guitarist), a 21 year old red fox, is the newest edition, joining only 1 year ago, and was quick to make friends with Ashe Oakley (Backup Vocalist), a 23 year old Bombay cat. Ashe and Marie dropped out of education at 18, in search of a future in a band together, and found Belle, Lilith, and Tom in need of a singer and a guitar player, Marie was quick to take place as a singer, and Ashe begun as a guitarist, until she was able to become a backup vocalist when Arthur joined, 4 years later.
The pilot takes place upon the night of their biggest performance to date, at The Toussaint Manor House. They get ready and travel to the Manor, but things take a turn when Marie goes to announce they are ready, to find the guests and host have all mysteriously vanished, without a trace.

I have extended the deadline for ALL auditions another month, to the 28th February. This is because we have not gotten enough animation auditions currently for the pilot, but we also want to have a large range of voice actors so they all have a voice we feel fits them best, so keep sending them in too!

Just quickly making sure people are aware that this project is unpaid, I do not wish for anyone to potentially spend time auditioning, or getting any roles if they are expecting money in return.
I unfortunately do not have the funds to hire people, as both the other writer/creator and I are minors, therefore everything is volunteer based. Also adding that if you are in any way uncomfortable working with minors, it's perfectly fine for you to drop out, delete your audition etc, I absolutely do not mind as I don't wish for anyone to be uncomfortable!
You must be able to make clear storyboards of what the script says. It should be understandable enough so animators can work off of it but it does not have to be drawn in the style of the show (though feel free if you wish to)

You will have to create backgrounds for entire scenes, meaning for scenes which involve walking etc, it must be large enough for the character to be animated walking from one end to the other.

For this role you will be expected to fully animate characters and generally anything “moving” in shots. You will have to do the line-art, colouring, and shading over the background given, much like a MAP on YouTube, but instead in the style of the show. Please don’t audition for this role if you are unable to do so. You can use any software of your choice, as long as you can remove the watermark and animate over a background.
Please state your experience and what scenes you would be okay with, like if you would be okay with a more difficult fast paced fight scene, or if you would rather a simple talking scene, as-well as examples!

For musician you will either be asked to work on background music, or songs for the rebellion to perform. Unfortunately we don’t have the funds to use real instruments so you will also be expected to compose it yourself (electric guitar, bass, drums and keyboard for songs they perform) on a software of your choice.

You will have to create sound effects for shots, eg rain, footsteps doors slamming etc. You can either make these yourself (heavily preferred) or get them off the internet for sounds that cannot be recorded.

Marie is the main character and lead vocalist, she is generally portrayed as very rude and snarky, but does have a soft spot for her fellow band members, though it does seem to be quite far down. Her voice is mid-high pitched and may have an American accent, but it’s not completely necessary. Some voice claims are: Nicole (class of 09), Lizzy (murder drones), and Julie powers (Scott Pilgrim takes off and Scott Pilgrim vs the world)
(Joking, casual) “You seriously expect me to go this entire evening without a drink?”
(Slightly scared) “That was.. oddly terrifying.”
(Mean) “Come on! Don’t be such a pussy and get on with it already!”
Ashe is the backup vocalist and Marie's best friend since high school. Despite this, she is very kind and supportive. Her voice is high-pitched and often quick paced, especially when anxious. She doesn't have a specific accent, and her voice claims are Ivy Pepper (Lackadaisy), Charlie Morningstar (Hazbin Hotel Pilot), and Izzy Moonbow (MLP: A new generation).
(Anxious) "Hurry up we don't wanna be late for this! What if they think we don't care enough and kick us off before we get a chance to start!"
(Excited) "Hell fricken' yea!"
(Confused but laughing) "Marie.. what- what even is that thing!?"
Arthur is the youngest and newest member in the band, as well as the guitarist. He has a relatively high-pitched voice and is often made fun of by Marie. He is very, VERY energetic and bouncy. Despite what he insists, he IS infact the most immature member and refuses to admit it. Voice claims: Haida (Aggretsuko), and Benny (The lego movie)
(excited, energetic) "I can't believe we're performing here- I mean cmon, this place is HUGE!"
(Annoyed) "Hey listen up! I'm not a toy for you to play around with! I can make decisions for this band if I wanted to! Watch me!"
(Embarrassed, jumpy) "HOW LONG HAVE YOU TWO BEEN STANDING THERE!? YOU'RE SO IMMATURE."
Tom is the drummer, he is like an older brother to Arthur, and was the one to invite him to the band. Tom has a deep, sometimes monotone voice (not all the time thankfully but on occasion Belle has to play a guessing game on whether he's pissed off or not). He's rather calm to chat to, however when performing is much more "expressive". Voice claims: Vortex (Helluva boss), and Ballister Boldheart (Nimona).
(Tired, slight sarcasm) "What's got you bouncing around this early?"
(Panicked) "Are you alright? You sure? I can uhh... I-I can call someone!"
(Cheerful) "Well look at that! It seems like we might have actually found our place in this world!"
Lilith is the bassist. She is bubbly and excitable, not so much hyper, but rather very optimistic She has a high pitched, slightly raspy voice. She is often hanging around with Ashe, but it is mostly when they're all out in public and Marie decides to wander off. Voice claims: Louise Belcher (Bobs Burgers), and Tip Tucci (Home)
(Encouraging) "Come on guys I know things have been tough lately but this is a big deal! Enjoy yourselves atleast a little!"
(Angry)"Can't you guys take a hint?" Leave me alone for once!"
(Excited) "You mean they actually want us to perform for them! This is HUGE!"
Belle is the keyboard player, and is usually seen hanging around with Tom and Arthur. She often give the impression of being rude and grouchy, but once getting to know her she is much more.. explosive, you may say. She has a medium/deep voice and an Australian/American Accent (Either one works just fine!). Voice claims: Cherri Bomb (Hazbin hotel), Tessa Elliot (Murder drones), and Zooble (The amazing digital circus).
(Alert, slightly annoyed) "Shh, something sounds off... Bitch just shut up and listen."
(Tired of the band) "That's it, get in the van I'm DONE WITH Y'ALL!"
(Excited) "HAHA! LOOK WHO'S FINALLY GOT MONEY TO THROW!"
Rosemary is the main antagonist in The Rebellion. She is not scared to speak her mind, no matter how disrespectful it may be. Not much is known about her other then having known Ashe in the past. She has a medium/deep voice and possibly a French accent. Voice claims: Colette (Ratatouille), and Widowmaker (Valorant))
(slightly formal) "Bonsoir, mon amie, long time no see. Say, how about a little dance?"
(Pissed off) "You still act as if none of that happened? Like you don't remember!? Bullshit!"
(Calmly, sarcastically) "Gizelle, go greet our guests. They deserve a warm welcome into our manor."
Gizelle is Rosemary's right hand woman. She is for the most part calm and composed, though may occasionally lose her temper. She has a medium pitched voice and a slightly posh accent (Not necessary but would be nice). Voice claims: Mel (Arcane), and Jess (Across the Spiderverse)
(Annoyed/stern) "Well then what do you suppose we do with them then?"
(Joking) "I mean, unless you'd rather do it yourself? I bet you'd love to do that huh?"
(happy) "Hey Christina, look over here!"
