Project Overview
The Only Light ✨ 一筋の光 Hitosuji no Hikari
Hana and Kohei were childhood friends who grew up together in a quiet town. But everything changed after Kohei’s mother passed away. The promise they once made began to fade. Kohei was suddenly taken to the capital by his father, and the two lost contact without ever saying a proper goodbye.
Eight years later, Hana meets Kohei again at the age of 16. But the boy she once knew has changed. He is cold, distant, and acts as if he doesn’t even recognize her. Every time she tries to get close, he pushes her away, as if determined to erase her from his life.

Project details
I’m looking for clean, high-quality audio with little to no background noise—ideally as minimal as possible.
I’d like you to understand the script, the story, and the character, and fully immerse yourself in the role while performing.
As for submitting your voice lines, I’ll give you around 2–3 weeks after you receive the script. But no need to worry about it too much—if you need more time than that, you can always let me know.
We’ll be communicating for this project through the Discord server.
This is a long series, so we may be working together for quite a while. If anything comes up, please let me know—just don’t disappear without saying anything.

Main Character
Age: 16 years old
Hana is bright, cheerful, and naturally lovable, always polite and graceful. She was Kohei’s childhood friend, but after Kohei’s mother passed away, he was suddenly taken to the capital by his father
Eight years later, they meet again—but Kohei has become cold and distant, constantly pushing her away.

Age: 16 years old
Quiet, cold, and easily annoyed, he has a habit of saying the opposite of what he really feels. He was born and raised in the countryside, living alone with his mother. But after her death, the father who had never cared about him suddenly appeared and took him back to live in the capital. He deeply resents and hates his father, and in defiance, Kohei lives recklessly and acts out as a troublemaker.

Oda Ashita
Age: 16 years old
Playful and good-humored, with a slightly teasing personality, he often hides his own pain behind a constant smile, acting as if nothing ever bothers him. He is Kohei’s close friend and deeply cares about him, always stepping in to help whenever he can—including helping Hana get closer to Kohei.
He is the heir to a major publishing company and the fiancé of Emi. He has secretly liked Emi for a long time and persistently pursues her, but it seems she doesn’t feel the same way about him.

A third-year senior and the school’s popular student council president, he is kind, polite, and gentle. After an accident in the school hallway, he meets Hana by chance. Through a series of coincidental encounters, he gradually becomes closer to her. He often helps her, offering advice and encouragement whenever she needs it.

Confident and self-assured, she isn’t soft or overly gentle—she can come across as slightly cold at times. She is Toshi’s close friend, and in truth, she has secretly liked him for a long time, though she chooses to keep her feelings hidden.
Her family has arranged for her to be engaged to Ashita, a man she doesn’t particularly like and often finds rather annoying.
