Project Overview

Introduction:

Hey, everyone! This is a casting call for our webtoon: "The Ones Among Us"!

Plot: A mission turns deadly when not everyone on the ship is human. Multi-ship fancomic! Red x Pink Purple x White Yellow x Black Adaptation of our fanfiction.  

Genres: Thriller/romance/drama

We're looking for a fun, side project to do, due to its popularity - why not bring it to life?

We have main, side and minor roles in the story that need voice acting

IMPORTANT: When submitting your lines, please include social medias to reach you if you get casted. I've had a problem not reaching some people with the CCC and their casted roles were released to someone else. So please list your social medias for me to reach you!

This is a fanmade project as it's unpaid. However, all voice actors' info will be released each video.
We hope to have commitment to the story. If casted, we'll send you the current lines listed on Webtoons to read off of. All lines will have a set deadline to be done.

Why the long deadline?
Due to its popularity, we expect to get a lot of submissions in contrast to Remote Angel's. We'll announce results within 2 weeks of the deadline.

WHAT TO EXPECT

We can communicate by email, discord, Twitter or Instagram. Be dedicated for this being a long term project if you accept a big role.
We will have our own private dedicated discord server to meet with other actors and announcements.
Video uploads will be slow as I am working on 3 webtoons. I would hope to aim to do monthly video uploads.
The videos will correspond with each webtoon update. (They'll be super short, though!)
Example: First video will only dub the first update of the webtoon.
So on and so forth.

What we ask of you?
Recordings must sound clean. No background noise.
You may send multiple lines of your best takes.
Please save as a .wav to our email address we provide.
Don't be upset if you aren't chosen.
Fast communication. At least respond within a week.

  • Roles Are Casted!

    Hi! It honestly was a REAAAALLLY tough thing to judge. We had multiple choices. All the roles have been casted. If yours wasn't chosen, don't fret, I will post the runner ups right now. If we don't hear by the roles casted within a few weeks, we'll close off their cast and let the next choice have it. Here were all the runnerups for each role!   • Just a reminder...

    Casted rolls will not happen until after the deadline is met. It makes things fair for judgement period. Judgment period starts April 30!

 Age 25. He likes Pink. He hates anyone who hurts her. He’s the impostor. He’s an expert liar. Able to blend in by using his humor. Good at manipulation. He’s a good person at heart.

 Age 28. He’s a smooth talker. Very good at seeming innocent, when –spoiler alert- he’s the second impostor. He likes the taste of other’s species’ flesh. Especially humans. They’re his favorite food. He’s a psychopath. Merciless.

 Age 19. He likes Yellow, music and instruments. He hates to talk. It gives him anxiety. He doesn’t like himself. He’s a bit quiet, it makes him sus, but he’s innocent. He’s misunderstood because he’s extremely shy. He stutters A LOT. He does tasks well, but very unorganized. He blushes easily when it comes to Yellow.
