The McNormals: an Original Animated TV Series (Voices for Episode 2 Needed)
Project Overview
Hello! My name is Millicent Basler and I am looking for a voice actor for some characters for episode 2 of my animated tv show, the McNormals, which will be uploaded on YouTube. Episode 1 is currently still in production and has not been released yet but I wanted to get a heads start on casting for episode 2. The McNormals has been a passion project of mine for years and I am very excited to finally bring it to life!
A Little Bit About the Show:
The McNormals is an animated comedy series about a family of aliens from mars hiding in plain sight on earth. They embark on plenty of adventures together getting into all kinds of trouble with their new human friend Tyler Seon.
A Little Bit About Me and the Project:
I am Millicent Basler of Hooting Pictures. I will be directing and writing this series, but it will be published on the YouTube account, Hooting Pictures, which is run by my sister, Sally Basler.
What you will need:
- A Discord account. Please leave it in your audition description.
- A good microphone and a quiet place with no background noise to record in.
- Acting skills. We want to bring life to these characters so go ham!
- A cooperative attitude and dedication to the project.

Brad E. is the main antagonist for episode 2 of the series. He is very rich and spoiled and is used to getting what he wants, when he wants. For this episode, he will be a major role, but for future episodes he will only maybe be in the occasional episode.
Can we just get on with it? I have a jet to catch! Oh, wait, it’s my jet. It can’t leave without me! (laughs haughtily)
It’s Brad! Brad E. Richpants, heir to the trouser and dungarees fortune! And I challenge you, Tyler Poorpants (pronounced "poor pants") to a duel!
(scoffs) You’re already late.
For this episode, Brad E. accuses one of the main characters, Tyler, of stealing his pet bunny and they go to court to settle their differences. This is where the judge comes in. Later in the episode, the judge will also appear as the announcer for a midieval duel. Their gender has not been decided, so voice actors of any gender are welcome to audition. Their character is a one-off and will not appear in future episodes.
Order, order in the court! (court room goes dead silent) ....Okay, maybe we don’t need that much order.
Excuse me! I am the judge, and I will decide who is guilty! Now Mr. Richpants. Call your first witness.

Mr. Richpants wants us to inform you that he has pressed charges against you for the kidnapping of his bunny. You are ordered to come and defend yourself in court today at 7am sharp.
Excuse me miss but cheering for anyone other than Brad E. Richpants is strictly forbidden. We are going to have to ask you to leave.
