The Wonderland Killings - (Visual Novel VAs)
Project Overview
The Wonderland Killings is a new Visual Novel from Themisian Games. We've also made The Zodiac Trial, The Divine Deception, and The Specter's Desire, the last of which also contained voice acting. We are looking for new voice actors to help bring our next project to life!
The Wonderland Killings is a thriller/mystery Visual Novel heavily inspired by the Danganronpa series. The game alternates between a freeform mode where you can spend time growing closer to the various other Guests, and a mystery-solving mode where after an investigation, residents at The Magic Circle will attempt to uncover the killer amongst them. This is not a Fanganronpa project, the characters and universe are all completely original. However, with this game, we hope to capture the magic of the DR series while also introducing new gameplay and narrative elements that will allow The Wonderland Killings to stand on its own.
We're currently casting the main 16 Guests which will make up the primary cast of the game. One point worth noting is that if you are familiar with the Danganronpa series, you will know that the cast is slowly whittled down over the course of the game. To that end, the various roles will have different amounts of content required, and will subsequently have different rates for their work. However, to avoid needless spoilers, which characters will require more or less work will not be revealed publicly. Apologies for the necessary discretion, and please keep in mind that the public hours/pay may not be reflective of reality. The recordings are planned to be live, with our audio director helping coach the performances (though we can be flexible on this point).

Janette Ire is the main character of "The Killing Tomb." Lawyer to the Gatz family, Janette is very methodical and logic-oriented. She has a commanding presence, and speaks authoritatively. Generally speaking, she can come off as detached, but the role will require some dramatic scenes.

Augusta Dupin is a self-professed teenage detective. Augusta alternates between playing things relatively coy and incredibly energetic. The character can be annoying, but her voice shouldn't be cartoonishly so.

Gwen Greene is a very cool teenage girl, or so people say. Her attitude can come across as disaffected, and she will sometimes use slang or internet shorthand. Her default mode of speaking assumes she's better than the person she's talking to.

Kerry Gatz is the teenage daughter of the Gatz family. She can either be a sweet kid in over her head or a total brat, depending on the circumstances.

Freya Laurence is a preacher for what she would call a hot new spiritual craze but what many would call a cult. She's often a source of comedic relief, so her voice actor should be able to infuse her lines with humor.

Joan Hazlett is a kind elementary school teacher in an unfamiliar and scary environment. She can often deliver a stern counterpoint in a conversation, but will also lend an empathetic ear to those in need.

Glenda Gage is the representative from Goldbrick Co, thoroughly unenthused with the situation she has found herself in. Glenda is incredibly logical, frequently harsh, and rarely lets emotions creep into her voice (other than annoyance).

Heather Prynne is the barkeep of the most popular bar in Stagbluff. Older than many of the other Guests, Heather has a wisdom that grants her a large amount of respect. She's often very laid-back, speaking quite casually.
