The Jewel Conspiracy — A Minecraft Film
Project Overview
Before anything else, a quick note on what this project actually is, because it’s an unusual setup. The film is a hybrid of Minecraft machinima and 2D animation. Over 700+ days of writing, filming and everything in between, that’s the medium the story ended up needing.
For the first few days this listing is up, there won’t be custom cover art or character art. The team is still deciding whether to go with the 2D designs or the Minecraft ones.
The story: On the desert world of Kastara, settlers survive on scarce water while the Gawian Empire eyes the iridium beneath their feet. When Ambassador Thane Voss and Imperial Admiral Kanis discover that the orders to invade were forged, they’re pulled into a conspiracy that runs from the courtrooms of the capital to the bridge of the GSS Jewel, the most powerful ship in the fleet. Courtroom drama, political maneuvering, and a mutiny in the dark.
Where we’re at: This is an active production, not a pitch. Half the film is already shot, with animated sequences in progress and an original soundtrack. Releasing early 2027 on YouTube.
Why audition:
Every role is paid, flat fee per role.

Lead. Early 20s, Kastaran ambassador to the Empire. Diplomatic, composed, carries quiet anger under the formality. Torn between his people and the empire he works with. Biggest role in the film. Deliver as separate WAVs.
