The Great Cities - A Skyrim Mod Project. 2

The Great Cities - A Skyrim Mod Project. 2

Project Overview

The Great Cities is a popular modding project of mine that aims to improve Skyrim's cities. With this mod I try to match the quality of the vanilla game for a fully immersive experience. I have come to realize that good dialogue is just as important as good 3d art and level design.

I am looking for voice actors who are willing to work with me on this project. This is not just a one time thing. I am looking for voice actors that are willing to work with me in my future overhauls (The Great Cities is a slow project). I will need voice actors for many of the different races in Skyrim.

  • The Great Cities will put up another Dunmer audition soon!

Hello everyone! I will start of by saying that you have all done a great job! The quality of the voice acting has blown me away. Partly because of this and partly because of our writing needs I will put up another Dunmer audition very soon to allow for a higher variety of voices. For this voice I will be looking for something akin to the MaleDunmerCynical voice found in the Dragonborn DLC: https://youtu.be/D5Hq1qAQsps With this voice type I hope to voice the more higher up positions. For example we have a Dunmer priest and wizard planned. I will put up the audition after I have made my decision for the current roles. I hope you will consider auditioning for this role too!

Role assigned to: CircuitVA

I am looking for a voice actor capable of doing a male Dunmer voice! This is for a variety of different male Dunmer characters in future overhauls or updates.

For the accent an English accent typically associated with the working classes would be prefered. However any accent that has a precedent in the Elder Scrolls universe for Dunmer characters is good.

  • (NPC is asked what happened to him back in Morrowind during the Oblivion Crisis)

It’d be easier to tell you what didn’t happen. At first there was the Oblivion Crisis. A ploughing rampage of bloody Daedra lay endless, miserable siege to our House capital of Narsis. We were up to our greaves in blood and the Legion was as inept as a zombie is at… well, bloody everything. Only when the city had bled itself dry did those Sloads, the Redorans, ‘liberate’ us.

  • (This Dunmer doesn't like Skyrim. She is asked why she doesn't just leave)

Easy for you to say. Morrowind is hardly the land I grew up in. Ever since the Red Mountain erupted Morrowind is an ash-filled wasteland. The air is so thick it blocks out the sun and you feel like chocking. Add to that all the chaos in the wake of the Oblivion Crisis and the Red Year. My great house was stripped of its power and torn asunder. Going back would be a death sentence.
