This is a high priority role and submissions from those that are able to get the lines done quicker will be more likely to get the role. Trans and nonbinary voice actors are preferred as Deirdre is nonbinary.
The fallen circus is a series focusing on an afterlife for souls who were heavily traumatized in life and dealt with intense deaths. The series will later go into darker topics as it addresses the psyche of the characters within the circus. We are currently looking for three voice actors and one background music artist for the upcoming season of shorts.
Deirdre is a reoccurring character in the fallen circus with a small speaking role in season three. The voice actor casted will be contacted again in the future for further lines.

About Deirdre
Deirdre is soft spoken and the “carer” of the group. They’re quick to form bonds with others once finally leaving the dark side of the circus. He’s gentle but can give tough love when needed.
They’re trans masculine nonbinary and bisexual. He uses they/he pronouns but prefers guests of the circus to only use they/them when referring to them. In life due to their circumstances, Deirdre never got to transition resulting in some internalized transphobia that Ringleader helped him work through.
Deirdre is the second oldest member of the circus, in terms of age when dying. They had a higher education and is very knowledgeable on a variety of subjects. His favorite subject to talk about is literature, especially of a poetic nature.
