Hey there everyone, this is a casting call for Season 2 of our ongoing post apocalyptic audio drama,
The Edge of the World Broadcast
The official Synopsis of the show is as follows
"The End of the world has come and gone and survivor Delsin Moore
discovers a still functioning Numbers Station and becomes
what could be the last voice in the world"
As we begin production of season 2 its time we start looking for the voice of our villain,
introducing him in the final 3 episodes of season 2 and bringing him into the fold for season 3
This role calls for an older male character with depth and gravel in their voice
(Think Dracula from the Castlevania netflix series or Joel from the last of us)
An english accent is preferred but not a must.
What do we expect ?
A good mic,
A place to record (echo can be an issue)
and a willingness to take slight direction
(Scouts honor, I won't be over the top)
Yes, this is a paying gig.
But keep in mind, that we are a small passion project.
So this is all out of pocket cause I love doing this show.

This villain is inherently inhuman, but gives off a Hannibal Lector/Raymond Reddington sense of intellect, confidence and authority.
An end of days Machiavellian antagonist who believes he is the key to reshaping the world
(He is speaking as if he's talking to a classroom of children, slow and measured, not fully condescending with his tone, but choosing his words very carefully)
" An offering of Earth and Water. These are the terms of surrender the Persians would use when speaking to the leaders of various Greek city states,
Simply put, they wanted to control the land you lived on and the water you drank.
Ultimately relinquishing of all you've known, of your world.
An admittance, if you will, of their superiority.
It was just a terribly polite way of going about it."
