[Somber Narration] I remember that day. The day I was brought to this god forsaken place…
[Defiant] (Chuckles) Yeah, I get what you’re saying old man. But if you’re trying to intimidate me, you’re going to have to try a lot harder than that.
[Dismal Narration] My mind had finally broken… With just a taste, a single morsel, he shattered what remained of my strength. That duck was a reminder. A symbol of his dominance over me. How he dangled heaven and hell over my head like some puppeteer of fate. Mocking me… Damn him... Damn this place. I-

[Elegant Introduction] Yes, my name is Alfred Godefroy. I am the warden of this fine establishment. Please, have a seat. I was just about to have dinner. You must be famished.
[Charitably offering] Merlot? I find it pairs marvelously with the duck. Unlocking its full potential. It’ll practically soar across the palate.
[Fond yet sinister recollection] What a year it’s been. The ups, the downs… I feel as though we’ve grown close in the time we’ve spent together, Douglas. So, I thought it would be a nice gesture to try and recapture our first moments.
Mid 30s, mid-high, warm yet assertive, intimate. Character ref: Serana (Skyrim), Andrea Beaumont (Mask of the Phantasm), Bayonetta (Bayonetta)
A woman ahead of her times. The widowed herbalist was arrested under accusations of witchcraft and blasphemy before being spirited away to the prison. She's a well traveled woman with a broader perspective than most. A life of love and loss hanging on her every word.

[Amused] My name is Olivia. I’ve just been brought to this dreadful place. Who do I have the pleasure of speaking too?
[Cheeky humor] Why thank you. I do polish my horns regularly you know. Brushing the soot out of my hair also aids the illusion.
[Annoyed recollection] In the quiet little village of Sherwood that’s more than enough. A woman living alone in the woods; spending her days tending to her livestock, brewing curatives and cultivating herbs. That sort of thing can raise an eyebrow or two. The locals would tell tales about me. Saying I would lie with wolves in the winter and how I could speak to the crows.
Late 30s-early 40s, Low, rough and raspy. Character ref: Sergeant Ardal (Witcher 3)
Kilgore is a simple man that takes a certain level of joy in "interrogating" the inmates of the Bastille. He is the head of security. Reporting directly to Godefroy, whom he harbors a great deal of respect for. But unlike most, he is keenly aware of his superior's darker nature.

[Casual] Good evening, sir. I’ve brought our new guest by to say hello before escorting him to his cell.
[Violent command] You heard the man. Sit!
[Subtle remorse] Christ, it’s not even fun knocking you around anymore... Why don’t you just cough up the location of the treasure so we can snap your neck and be done with this?
