Project Overview
The Andromeda Project: Danny's Last Wish is an original story that we have created and we intend for it to be shown to the world as a pilot of a possible series.
The Story is still up for change but this is a synopsis of what we have thus far.
The year is 3378, it is the 22nd of August. Star Commander Danny Jagman, of the United Human Coalition, has a mutiny on his hand. The SS Storm Haven is a 145 meter long vessel containing 800 souls, of which Danny Jagman is the Star Commander. It was supposed to be a routine cargo mission between Uhx IX and The Harusian Homeworld, Zlatannia. However lies, treachery and rumours of the Star Commander being a traitor drives the crew and the Star Commander into insanity.
About the project itself:
This project will result in a pilot being put onto youtube.
The project is still in a very early stage but it will be long lasting. We are hoping to get some people who we will work well with towards our vision. Previously the work was unpaid but Xavier and I decided to change it.
Audition Requirements:
- Please have discord as we will add you to a server for this project.
- Please be 16+
- Please repeat each audition line a minimum of two times and add some variation between each take so we can get a better idea of you as a voice actor :)
- Please say all 3 audition lines.
- Please have good microphone quality and an acceptable recording environment

Star Commander Daniel Jagman, aged 47, is the first of his family to join the military. And not just that, to be a Star Commander, one of the most influential and important occupation anyone could have in the United Human Coalition is a great honor. Daniel is a hard working man, he has an excellent sense of humour but at the first sign of trouble he will not hesitate to take things seriously and think of a solution. He's quite charismatic. Being Star Commander of the SS (Star Ship) Storm Haven for 8 years, he knows what makes the ship tick and he's quite fond of it.
Daniel's voice could be described as commanding, charismatic and his voice should show off his determination. His voice should be somewhat low with timbre behind it.

You're animals! You're all animals! Have you forgotten who's helped you all this time!? You couldn't lead this ship without me! (With great anger and a bit of a growly texture)
You think killing me will fix any of this? It won't. You will all die a slow and painful death in the cold emptiness of space. Let it be known to all of you that Daniel Jagman will die a meaningless and useless death. (A sense of desperation is in his voice but there is confidence as he knows he's right)
A.J. is a 29 year old male. A.J. used to be a standup guy. He had it all, a girlfriend and a good paying job. What more could he ask for? Everything came apart when Haley broke up with him. She was everything to him. He was obssessed with her and she was all he could think about. He had thought about her at every point in the day he could no longer focus on work. Eventually hate grew and grew in his heart until all he could think about was hatred. For her and the society he had lived in. That was until his brother let him know about the Galactic Liberation Front. A terrorist organization that wants to set the United Human Coalition ablaze and turn it anew. The way his brother had described it made it seem like he would have purpose again. That he would have something. The GLF had something in mind for him: take over a standard UHC cargo ship and set the crew against themselves. He would go undercover into the ship as a low ranking mechanic.
He MUST have a british/australian accent.
His voice should be pathetic and high pitched.

It’s easy to feel alone on a planet as big as Earth. One individual amongst eight billion others with their own hopes and dreams. But when you meet someone who changes your life, someone who is truly special, Getting them in your life will always sky-rocket your self-esteem. See, true friendship is a rare commodity in life. It’s hard to know who you can trust. Meeting someone you fall in love with in friendship is a gift from Heaven. Before meeting her, I was always more solitary, and not one to make new friends, But the day I got to know her, taught me a very important lesson. (Said incredibly mellow and forlorn.)
Where did it all go wrong? Why does this ALWAYS happen to me. I dont deserve any of it. All my friends. Gone. All my dreams shattered. I guess nice guys finish last. (Spoken with melancholy.)
GET OUT OF MY HEAD GET OUT OF MY HEAD GET OUT OF MY HEAD! GET. OUT. OF. MY. HEAD! (Spoken with increasing anger with him becoming more and more psychotic. There should be no breaks and it should be spoken in one sentence. For the last part it should be brimming with emotion.))
"Mother" is a 64 year old woman who is the head chef of the SS Storm Haven. Deep down she has a kind soul but nags every one of her fellow crewmates. Her real name is unknown, even to the Star Commander but she is still the trusted individual. She will not respond to anything other than "Mother". She is the closest person to the Star Commander, whom she treats as her own son. She is extremely tall, intimidatingly so. She had lost her son Dylan in a metallurgy plant after a still unknown coworker of his pushed him in. This has caused her somewhat rough exterior.
This character can be voiced by men or women.
Her voice should be abrasive and gravelly (Think the mother of Howard from "The Big Bang Theory" or the receptionist from "Monsters Inc.")
Any accent would do, feel free to experiment.

Sweetie, I think it'd be best to give up. There's no way in hell you're gonna get her back, Ward.(She would be speaking in a hushed tone, trying to initimidate someone.)
Daniel, I can't speak for my son, Dylan, but I feel if I do right by you, I can make up for when I wasn't there for him. (Sorrow and pain is in her voice. Spoken dramatically.)
Star Cadet Kieran, aged 17, graduated from Space Ranger Academy with middling grades. He has a very offputting personality and is unliked by most. This is his 6th deployment on a ship and his longest by far, 2 months. At first glance he may seem like a hard worker but in reality he just takes doing nothing very seriously. If doing nothing was a job, he would be a professional. He cares little for Arthur and gives Daniel the minimum amount of respect needed not to be kicked off the ship, but he admires Mother for seeing past his mistakes and flaws.
He can be played by both women and men.
He has a nasally, high-pitched voice. His voice should be that of a "nerdy" teen. (hollywood's idea of a nerd)

Well the Star Comissioner said not to leave the cargo out of my sight. What do you mean there's no such thing as a Star Comissioner?(First part is said with confidence, almost mocking the person who asked, and the 2nd is said with suspicion)
I'm gonna blow this ship and all of you to kingdom come! (Said with anger and determination, his voice slightly quivering.)
You die on the 23rd of August, Danny. (Said with an uncharacteristic amount of hatred and seriousness in a low tone. The nasal nature of his voice being gone.)
Security Officer Arthur Warne, aged 32. He only applied for the position due to him wanting to get off-world. After catching his wife cheating on him with her tax advisor, he needed a break from life. He thought going from planet to planet in a Star Vessel would bring something back into his life. He's a people pleaser and one of the nicest people aboard the Storm Haven, yet he is taken advantage of by many. To call him a security officer would be an insult to anyone else in the same occupation. Star Commander Daniel Jagman only hired him out of pity, and the fact he saw potential in him. He has a very meek personality. Arthur holds great respect for the Star Commander for giving him a chance where nobody else gave it to him.
He should have boston accent.
His voice should sound somewhat weak and pathetic, while still sounding friendly.

*alarm is blaring in the background and he is attempting to speak over it by yelling/shouting a little* Oh yeah it does that sometimes, but only when the ship gets hit by something. I usually just tune it out, ya get used to it. (Said a lot more calmly than he should.)
