I've been working in audio recording since 2010, and professionally in VO/VA since 2020. Being based in Japan since 2006, I've done corporate and industrial in-studio narration for companies such as Toyota, Mitsubishi, Denso, and Joysound, including internet and television commercials, with a smooth, reassuring delivery.
On the VA side, I take pleasure in voicing irate, exasperated characters with a cartoonish flair, as well as put-upon guys with little patience. I have a dynamic range that includes calmer dialogue as well, and enjoy playing characters that switch it up. I am also open to recording Japanese dialogue under the condition that the script has been proofread by a living, breathing, native Japanese speaker.
This course focused primarily on commercial/industrial VO, with emphasis on how to interpret, feel, and emote to suit any kind of read.
For indie projects, my rate for all VO (including character work and VA) done remotely is US$5/line.
For established and larger, developers, I charge US$200/hr.
For domestic jobs, I accept yen payments in cash or bank transfer.
For remote jobs, I accept payment via PayPal.
I'm primarily looking to voice characters who are dynamic, frustrated, irate, eloquent, and angry. I'm interested in working in video games and animation.
I'm always open to commercial VO/narration as well!
