In a distant land, an evil kingdom rises unseen. After a warning from God, Richter travels to Bowser's kingdom to find a hero to stave off this evil, and finds a nervous Piranha Plant named... Plant. Together with a plethora of allies, Richter and Plant must return to defeat the evil Princess Parsnip and save the world from total domination.
This Casting Call is for secondary characters in TAP, specifically the ones in Episodes 2-5, ending the first part of the series. These characters have sparser appearances than in previous casting calls. You don't necessarily have to be consistently available to audition for these characters, unless otherwise noted.
As for the auditions themselves:

* If you stutter, feel free to leave it in as long as you record a clear version of the line as well

The mayor of the village that Isabelle is tending to in Episode 3. He's calm and supportive of his people, but skeptical of outsiders, especially those who cause trouble for Smashville. While he can be accomodating, he can also be unreasonable, and while this is fine when his will is in alignment with the villagers, it causes problems for those who disagree.
(A little tired of Isabelle's self-deprecation) One of these days, Isabelle, you’re going to realize just how much you help people by just “doing what you need to.”
(Slightly scared and rude) If that’s the case, I’m afraid you all have to leave.
(Authoritative and stern) You saw what the injured one did! And if those creatures chase them wherever they go, there’s bound to be another attack! Trust me, this is for the best.
The wife of the mayor of Smashville, affectionately known as the Village Mother. She is sweet, but stern, and tends to follow Villie's lead on major decisions, though she is more accepting of outsiders than he is.
(calm and reassuring) Oh, posh. You save lives daily, and you STILL call it nothing?
(strict but gentle) Please run along, children! Let Plant have some space for a while!
(incensed) Our sorry butts were only put in danger by your motley group!
One of the local village children, who is curious, and often panics at the first sign of danger.
He is a very young child, but I'm not picky about how young he sounds, just as long as he doesn't sound older than a teenager.
(frantic) There’s some weird people at the village gates!
(curious) What kinda things do you eat?
(angry) Yeah! They saved us!
One of the village children, who is constantly curious and kindhearted.
Like with Ness, he should sound really young, but I'm not picky about how young.
(curious) Do you carry that pot everywhere you go?
(angry) You can’t just banish ‘em like that!
One of the village children, who is weirdly fascinated by macabre subjects.
Unlike Ness and Lucas, I am picky about how young he sounds, as I want him to sound the youngest of the village children.
(weirdly calm) How long before you start wilting?
A high-profile mage in Noctus, who happens to be romantically involved with Prince Thornberry. She is kind and just, just like her lover, but she is far more averse to violence.
Her voice should be gentle and soft, much like Mae Whitman's Katara (at least during her gentler moments)
(encouraging) I can hear them from here. You’ve really lit a fire under them.
(worried) I promise. Just promise me in turn that you won't die.
(pleading) Please, let me do this!
The field commander of Orchid's army, known in the past for some brutal crackdowns on dissident activity. She is loyal, but will not hesitate to question her lord if the situation calls for it.
She must sound commanding and stern, similar to Olivier Mira Armstrong in the English dub of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.
(relaying the situation) Milord, Thornberry is retreating! Shall we mop up the stragglers?
(requesting with some authority) Milord, your presence is vital for this attack!
(gravely) Till Erbkrieg’s end.
One of Gimli's chimaeras, but among his least favorite. Since he's not very combat-capable, Gimli only uses him for information gathering, treating him like a tool more than a creature, despite 334 having a much kinder demeanor than other chimaeras.
His growls should be animalistic in nature, but there should be a gentleness to them that the rest of the chimaeras don't have.
*worried growl*

A thug frequenting a tavern that the Plant Gang enters during their travels. He is a wanted man, and relishes in violence, alongside his partner Drotui.
He should sound gruff and intimidating, but it should be clear that he's a bit of a blowhard.
(looking to start a fight) Well, well. Look what we have here.
(taunting) Oh, please! What’s one more Holy Warrior in the pile? You’re no different to the whelps I’ve felled before!
(boasting) Anyone entering this tavern knows who WE are. We’ve got death sentences in three kingdoms.
A thug frequenting the tavern that the Plant Gang encounters. He is a wanted man, and is an admirer of Chozo culture, and is quite a battlemonger.
I'd like his voice to be deep and thuggish. However, he also speaks exclusively in the Chozo language, a language I've created for this project. Here's a link to the language's basics, so you won't be completely lost.

The brother of Edelgard, who is currently imprisoned for starting riots in the streets. He is avidly for social reform, but is uncompromising in his beliefs.
I'd like him to sound similar to Chris Hackney's performance in Fire Emblem: Three Houses.
(sarcastically) Yes, by all means, Hubert! Leave the alleged seditionist with your captain! I’m sure that will go well!
(passionate and fiery) The people are suffering for this “law” you seem to love so much! Don’t you think it’s time they fought back? Don’t you think it’s time they took the power back for themselves!?
(dispassionate) Leave me to rot, El. Even if you free me, I will sit in this prison for as long as it takes, until I can walk through a Noctus whose guard captains do not sacrifice their personal virtues for their ideals.
The head commander of Orchid's army, despite being incredibly young. He is pragmatic and ruthless, but pleasant to those he views as useful.
I'd like something similar to Robbie Daymond's performance in Persona 5 Royal, but I'm not terribly picky.
(relaying the situation) And with his troops routed, Thornberry would have no choice but to surrender to us.
(horrified) ...No. Parsnip’s played us for fools!
(commanding) Princess Parsnip! Men, subdue her!
A contract killer shrouded in mystery. He is knowledgeable about Chozo culture, but he doesn't adhere to their customs, and is quite dishonorable.
He should sound gruff and quiet, similarly to Ben Diskin's performance as Saizo in Fire Emblem Fates.
(greeting) Daizho, Chozus.<Peace, Warrior.> I come in peace.
(eager) Noctan royalty have placed a bounty of ten thousand for the capture of Holy Warrior Richter Belmont.
(upset) ...Samehkus<Stubborn fool>. You will regret this.
The Chimaeras that Gimli creates, who are the main threats that the Plant Gang (and Parsnip's other enemies) face throughout the series.
They should sound animalistic enough to be intimidating, so go wild! Everyone who impresses me in this role will be DMed an invite to the project!

Line 1 is Bowser's minions, who are only relevant for the first episode. Line 2 is Noctus's citizenry, who are relevant from Episode 2 on. Line 3 is assorted Noctan soldiers, who take the forefront for a majority of episodes past Episode 4.
