This is a Comic Dub of  @// sharpedgedfool non-profit Fan Comic Team Dark: Supernova Odyssey.

“Team Dark: Supernova Odyssey” is a space opera comic revolving around found family and adventure themes. It serves as a hypothetical spin-off to the Shadow the Hedgehog video game, albeit a very different genre of storytelling. It takes place after Sonic Unleashed and branches off into its own timeline outside of canon.

The comic follows Team Dark as they embark on an epic journey to save the galaxy from a looming threat. Traveling through space takes time, and despite their differences, they learn to work together and perhaps forge even greater friendships along the way. 

Characters, settings, and source material from the Sonic The Hedgehog Series are owned by SEGA.

I plan to voice Shadow the Hedgehog and Gerald Robotnik in this series.

  • The Comic Dub is here!

    Hey everyone, thanks to all of you who followed and auditioned for this project. The comic dub was released about 4 days ago and has almost 300 views, I'm super blown away by the reception it got. I forgot to post it here, so if you haven't watched it yet here it is. https://youtu.be/T1F6nA6fxTg Hopefully, when Issue 2 is released I'll have a chance to do this again. In the meantime, I hope to do more smaller-scale dubs for Sonic and other franchises like MHA, RWBY, etc. Even hope to do a casting call for my own Sonic story, but that won't be for a while.   • Current Cast

    Hello, Thank you all for auditioning and following this project. Currently, Omega, Rouge Eggman, and ARK System have been cast. Congrats to CashlinSnow, Jason Falcon, Voice Man, and Killua_ki for their wonderful auditions. Hope Kintobor is currently going through Call Back auditions. The 2 VAs who's part of it did an amazing, that picking one of them from that sample line was difficult. That should be decided in a day or 2. I decided it would be for the best if I voiced the narrator for now, but anyone who's up for it the role is still open for auditions. Finally, I'm adding one more role, the Dark Chao that appears near the end of the issue. The original plan was to just reuse SA1/2 Chao sound effects, but that didn't seem authentic to me. So anyone who can voice these cute creatures, go for it! Anyway, Thanks Again for signing up and I hope to work with some of you soon. Bye!

  • Role Casting

    Thank You to all the people who came and submitted their auditions yesterday when this was posted. I'm absolutely blown away by the support. I plan to start casting starting on Friday, October 22nd. If you don't get the role you auditioned for but there's still a role open then I can cast on that if your voice fits. Even if you don't get a role, any future projects I decide to do I'll keep my eyes open for anyone who auditioned. Anyway good luck everyone and I hope to see you soon.

He is a robot created by Dr. Eggman as the last and most powerful of the doctor's E-Series robots. However, he was deactivated and sealed in an abandoned base to guard Shadow the Hedgehog, who was in suspended animation in a stasis capsule. Furious at having his power wasted in this way, Omega swore revenge on his creator. 

Omega's only goals in life are to take revenge on Eggman for wasting his potential and destroy the doctor's other robots to prove himself superior. These two goals are absolute above all else in Omega's eyes. As a result, he tends to be extremely headstrong, reckless, aggressive, and destructive-and decimating anything that gets in his way.

Rouge The Bat

Rouge the Bat is an anthropomorphic bat and jewel thief that has worked as a part-time government spy for the President of the United Federation and is in close association with the Guardian Units of Nations. A world-famous treasure hunter, Rouge has a weakness for jewels, like the Master Emerald and Chaos Emeralds, which she always obsesses about. As a spy, Rouge is trained in combat, stealth, and infiltration, and possesses both super-level kicking power and flight. 

Rouge is a strong-minded young woman. A fearless, ambitious, independent, flirtatious, greedy, calculating narcissist who most people see as only caring for herself and gems. Rouge has shown she can be heroic, possess loyalty, care about others, or, at least, have some degree of morality.

Dr. Ivo Robotnik aka Eggman is the main antagonist of the Sonic the Hedgehog series. He is an evil human scientist and the arch-nemesis of Sonic the Hedgehog. Boasting an IQ of 300, Eggman dreams of dominating the world, but his constant plots to establish his Eggman Empire are always thwarted by Sonic and his friends. 

Eggman is a short-tempered, raucous, pompous, and cruel evil genius who is constantly trying to take over the world. His primary motivation throughout most games is his psychotic belief in self-entitlement. Arrogant and narcissistic, he constructs his countless technological wonders in his own image to fuel his massive ego, usually reinforced by his goal of building the Eggman Empire, and doesn't care where he starts it.

Hope Kintobor is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic book series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. She is a young female Overlander and the daughter of Colin Kintobor and Angela Hopkins, niece of Dr. Ivo Robotnik (aka Doctor Eggman), and half-sister of Snively Robotnik. 

Hope is a caring, wise, and thoughtful girl, whose kind and righteous nature makes it hard for her to have grudges. 

This comic takes place in the game canon so a lot of what is listed here isn't applicable. Her appearance is redesigned to look like Eggman/Gerald instead of Maria. So I'd imagine her having a raspier tomboy-like voice. Ash or Misty from the original 4kids dub is the range I'm looking for.

The Chao  are creatures that appear in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. Their role in the games are to be raised by the player in mini-games, similar to many virtual pets. Chao are somewhat complex: they respond to stimuli, have moods, require food and can be loving or fearful.

The Dark Chao are bad Chao children on the Dark side who are violent and like to play pranks. They like dark and mysterious places. Dark Chao can usually only speak one word which is their own species' name. However, they have a very distinct form of communication: their emotion-dot. The emotion-dot, which floats above a Dark Chao's head will change shape depending on what it thinks or feels: It becomes a heart when the Dark Chao is happy, a question mark when the Dark Chao is confused, an exclamation point when the Dark Chao is alarmed, and a swirl when the Dark Chao is unhappy.
