Early 30s, Controlled on the surface, but constantly on the edge of something slipping. Uses logic to outrun fear, even when nothing about the road feels logical anymore.

Whoa! Cabin. Fireplace. Beer. Indoor plumbing. That's the dream.
Shut up! I’m tired… That’s all this is… I’m tired. You’re just signal junk. You’re not real. You’re just noise.
(speaking low, almost to himself) Get to the cabin. Just... get to the damn cabin… Just a little further. Ten more minutes. Maybe eight. Just... don’t look in the mirror.
20s-30s, Female. Familiar voice from the Driver’s life. Calm, measured, but carrying urgency beneath every word. The kind of person who knows more than she says, and hates that she’s usually right.
- female adult
You said you'd be here before dark… You always think you're gonna make better time than everybody else… You left 3 hours ago.
(Urgent) Don’t get out. Whatever you do… don’t let it in. Just wait. I’m almost there.
Just… it's not plowed well. People slide off all the time.
Folksy, warm, and unsettling in equal measure. 30s-50s, Speaks like an old storyteller who’s seen too many winters and learned which stories are safer not to question.

And now, one for the night travelers… especially the ones lost. Keep your hands on the wheel and eyes on the trees. Sometimes they blink back.
And for those still wondering… maps don’t always show what’s there. Sometimes they just show what used to be.
You ever wonder why your GPS reroutes you on days like this?
20-30s, Female, A presence without a clear origin. Calm, close, and intimate in the way memory is intimate. Speaks like someone who was once real in the Driver’s life, or still is, depending on how much he’s willing to remember.
- female adult
I’m serious. You do this thing when you’re thinking too hard…you stop looking at me.
You said we’d be there before dark.
Because you were already mad at the weather. I didn’t want to make it two things.
